I'm not sure I'm following what this guys is saying here. ELI5?
Basically he's saying that he may have given classified information, but not the methods or sources by which that information was created.

"That's it he's done right ? we're done here ? no ? no we're not done and nothing matters ? Okay then "
Will be my go to response any time trump does something like this from now on. Short of actually causing a terrorist attack implicity on US soil or killing someone on live television I think he's going to be stuck there until 2024.![]()

Because it was legal, this won't get him impeached or anything.
McMaster came out and said that Trump did not disclose the source or methods in how the classified intelligence was gathered that Trump told the ambassador. He did NOT categorically deny that anything classified was discussed. So while classified information was discussed, the sources/methods were not according to McMaster. Not that it makes things much better.
What was McMaster's statement?

good lord dude

Presidents can essentially declassify intel without repercussion. So this will go nowhere legally, as usual.
I got that reference.Doesn't look like anything to me. Sincerely, Paul Ryan.

He is saying that McMaster's comment to WaPo confirmed that this story is legit, Trump leaked.
https://twitter.com/ZekeJMiller/status/864226501062950912/photo/1 words it better.
Maybe just sit on the sidelines then if you're not willing to stay informed and engage on the topics that come up. Drive by malaise says more about the poster than the administration at this point."That's it he's done right ? we're done here ? no ? no we're not done and nothing matters ? Okay then "

Russians: "President Trump, please tell us the location of your nuclear arsenal."
T: "Ok! Here let me show you everything!"
(what's coming next?)
prove him fucking wrong.
I guess the IC tapped the Oval Office? I don't think there was anyone else there with him and the Russians
I hope Trump rots knowing that he is likely to go down in the history books as one of, if not the worst president in American history.
Of all the things.
This was probably the most predictable.
https://www.buzzfeed.com/jimdalrympleii/trump-highly-classified-information-russiansTwo US officials who were briefed about Trumps disclosures last week confirmed to BuzzFeed News the veracity of the Post report, with one official noting that its far worse than what has already been reported.
One of the officials said the Senate Intelligence Committee was also briefed on Trumps disclosures.
Do we need to do another impeachment primer?
The president can be impeached for whatever Congress feels like earns it. "High crimes" literally means 'things that aren't necessarily crimes but are abuses of your high position of power'
I'm not going to try and prove that Trump won't be president in 2024 he's just jumping to the worst possible conclusion and its annoying.
I imagine he'll go down as the most incompetent unless there's another president I'm not thinking of.
