But yeah don't worry about gamers being silly. It always seems like the people who get early copies of games and stream it have no idea what they are doing. While the hardcore sit on messageboards and get salty they need to wait till day 1....

By the way, the shop I got the game from had exactly 250 copies of it. They were all sold in less than 3 hours.

I'm super impressed, and surprised, considering it's Doha we're talking about. Didn't know there was that much video games enthusiasts here nonetheless FF fans.
 
this twitch streamer cant' even read the fucking big ass english prompt on the screen. The dude's a legit troll. He was playing and now he's playing like trash. he's just fishing.

From what I learned yesterday from others here in this thread: Yes, there are other big, exporable regions across the sea but
they are not as open and interconnected as the regions of the continent of Lucis.

Ok that makes me feel better! =) I was really worried we only get to explore Lucis. I'm ok with it not being as huge as the first 3 regions too, just because I feel like it would have been a missed opportunity for them had it been just that.

We were talking about exactly this like a dozen of times in this thread though, yesterday too.
I don't think it is really a spoiler to learn if the world is as big and open as we thought/hoped. As long as no one that answers is too specific about the regions.

None of them are story related and there should be a place for people who would like small bits of information but don't want to brave the blitzkrieg that is the spoiler thread. This seems like a decent spot if kept within reason.

It would be best to just keep the spoilers (and reactions to it) away from this thread lest Falk brings his wrath down. I mean, this thread was originally about people getting the game early.

I'm one to talk haha.
 
I agree that spoilers should stay out of this thread, but we either need to stop considering gameplay details spoilers or have another thread for early gameplay impressions. You can't seriously tell people who want to know if there are more open areas after Lucis to go to the thread where they're probably discussing the ending.

In regards to extremely mild spoilers can anyone give a brief idea of what loot is like? Anything in line with FF12 where you get drops from enemies/bosses, or is it resources and crafting based? Or both? You can spoiler tag this info if you want, I just want to know if there is any depth to loot or if it's going to all be about gil grinding and simply buying stuff from shops.

Retailers will have stock in the US but will be far more hesitant to break street date. Places in Asia/Middle East tend to give zero fucks as a fair few of them are grey imports anyway.

Just curious about it. But that's interesting! I have always wondered why some places like the UAE use the ESRB or NA games, but I guess that's a question for another day haha.

Digital cards or codes have slipped out. I've seen a couple online and someone on my friends list has been playing the digital edition since Friday and is located on the east coast.

I'll try the 7/11 in my town after work today(Japan and yes they sell FFXV). Something tells me they either don't have it or won't break the date. I'm in a pretty small town, but 7/11 is an international company. We'll see.
