There's also this really interesting promo, which sounds too good to be true:

Xbox One Game Trade In

Get an extra $10 in credit when you trade towards Forza 6, Halo 5 or Rise of the Tomb raider OR Get an extra $20 in credit when you trade towards the pre-order of the Division or Quantum Break.

Offer ends January 30, 2016. In store only. Minimum $5 value required for $10 bonus. Minimum $8 Value required for $20 bonus. Original case and artwork required. Eligible games subject to change daily. See store for complete details.

It is too good to be true. It's a one time bonus per title. So if I wanted Quantum, I could trade places in three games, but would only get one $20 bonus. I had to call and ask because the deal sounded too incredible.

Yeah Life is Strange has been out digitally in full since October.

It's just this week the Physical Limited Edition came out, due to how well the game was received. The physical is a physical copy of the game on a disc, an artbook, and full soundtrack.

If it doesn't require Steam, I may bite

Whaaaaaat? May just send the physical copy back. What are the extras?

EDIT:The Limited Edition features a 32 page artbook (including unreleased concept art), the full Life is Strange soundtrack, plus the original score by Jonathan Morali and director's commentary!

Well, at least there's value. I just don't know if I need it.

So tempted to touch, so tempted to take. I MUST HAVE IT (During a sale)!

That Pokemon RBY = $12.49 news is news to me. Not picking any of them up now.

Where they always that price on the eShop? I thought they were around $8 each.

If you only want quantum, go do the trade and preorder that and the division and then go back at later date and move money on division pre-orders to quantum

I already own it on Steam and I still bought the LE for PS4. I think it's worth it, though the art book is not as good as you'd hope.

That's to be expected, I guess. Someone on RFD said he got the bonus for two games, but who knows.

I paid to ship three controllers to them! Is this an automatic payment, or do you have to contact Sony for reimbursement?
I was contacted by the people doing the lawsuit I think. I don't have their info, but Sony left this number on the letter they sent: 1-800-345-7669

I jumped on that as soon as possible. But, unfortunately, they charge $12 for shipping to a PO BOX. Oh well.

Is it easy to cancel an order if Amazon (the superior company) gets it later?

If you pre-order something through EB's site, like a handheld console, do you have to pay full price or can you just put a deposit down?

Here is what my confirmation e-mail for the Pokemon 3DS hardware said:

"Important: Please note that for pre-orders purchased via credit card, we now capture payment at time of shipping, so please ensure that you have funds available in advance of the release of the game."

I think Pokemon has a higher allocation than Fire Emblem (as it's the bigger franchise), which is probably why it's still available.

Only in-store pre-orders let you put a deposit down.

I just did this deal and in-store has more details about this promotion.

Seeing as how most trade-in deals vary from store to store (depends on who you get) this may differ at your location so just go in knowing this may be the case:

- Apparently you can only do the $20 deal once per title. So I traded in NHL 16 ($30 +$20) towards The Division and did Hyrule Warriors towards Quantum Break ($24 + $20), this is the only way to get the bonus $20 on each game when trading in two games.

- The guy told me that if I were to change either of the pre-orders I would lose that $20 bonus like for any trade in deal. (Which I find hard to believe because I am constantly doing trade-in deals and changing my pre-order without any effect).

- If what he said about moving pre-orders around turns out to be true (I am VERY suspect of that) I will just wait for the games to come out, do a Gamers Guarantee to return the games (as I don't have an Xbox One), and get whatever game I want with the full retail value.

It's a little bit of work, but this way I was able to trade in my two games that I'm done with for more money than I paid for them.

Best of luck to anyone taking advantage of this deal!

They won't allow the 3DS to be pre-ordered and picked up in store.

I have no credit card, so I was trying to use a gift card to put a deposit. I called the store, too, but they said they can't do pre-orders right now and have merely received an email telling them it exists.

Ah well

Makes sense

I'm not done with NHL 16 or Batman, else I'd maybe trade those. All I really have to trade is Disney Infinity 3.0, but they said it's only worth $15 because they don't take the base, and the characters are worth $3 each.

I've been trying and trying to sell it on Kijiji, but haven't had any luck.

I almost wished I lived in Seattle just so I could drive up to Canada and score an Xbone for the equivalent of like $280 US.

The fact that console prices are what they are is a minor miracle.

jeez

US gamers have it so easy

Step 1. Get into Canada
Step 2. Buy LITERALLY WHATEVER YOU WANT for 30% off

Yeah, if I wasn't already trying to get rid of those two games on Kijiji I would have passed on this deal.

I figure with NHL it is only a matter of time before that thing absolutely plummets in price; since I'm pretty much done with it $50 ain't sound too bad.

If I was finished with what I want to complete in NHL, it'd be easy to trade it since it will plummet. I just haven't gotten around to playing it much.
