Seriously, what the fuck...
$99 games incoming. $111 with taxes.
$69 with Amazon E3 30% off.
Fucking hell.

I'm gonna get my PS3 repaired and bang that out with my Vita and 3DS. I don't see myself buying to many games on release after 2016. This hobby just turned into a rich mans sport

Backlog and existing E3 preorders will keep me occupied this year, which is good.

I wonder if I should nab some computer parts for the upgrade I wanted to do this year, as no doubt they'll keep going up. I should have bought stuff last fall.

Looks like this may be the year that gets me to bust out the wii u and make my way through all the unopened wii u games that have been piling up because i bought em during preorder sales. While people may say it's a waste to just buy a game and leave it unopened, why not buy later, due to Nintendo's pricing policy, I actually got them at a cheaper price than they've ever been even on sale after their release, and many games are nearly 2 years old now.

They have such a high price of entry into their ecosystem, cheaper older games are essential for mid-to-late gen console purchases.

I really hope they revise their pricing policy for the NX. Not holding my breath though.

Did you guys know that the low dollar means games will be more expensive? We should discuss that until the next shipping crisis.

I think I'll focus more on getting Virtual console games, before Nintendo does away the Wii Shop Channel service, if rumors about the NX release window and anywhere nearing true. I really can imagine Nintendo preserving Wii Shop Channel for NX users.

Getting a new wave of nostalgia.

I'll still buy games... I just won't buy as many.

I was a kid back then and I just saved up for games I really wanted and sometimes I rented some games too. Back then the offer wasn't as huge. These days you have major releases every months. It kind of forced you to play the games you had.

I really hope that they don't raise the price of Xbox Live in Canada. Thinking about buying some of those prepaid 12 month cards while they're on sale to keep my account active for a bunch of years before the price goes up.

Someone on Twitter told me that they spoke with Amazon.ca CS and they were told that Prime 20% off games perk is making its way to Canada. No ETA though.

Thanks to MarkMan in another thread, use code 2016 on the MadCatz website at checkout.

I didn't see any info on the discount amounts and for what items. I tried for a few items and they appear to be up to $20-$60 off some hardware (example: TE2 arcade sticks).
