"Rainbow Six Siege: Digital Plus Edition" on PS4's PSN is $60. It's $20 cheaper than regular edition and it includes regular edition plus $10 of R6 Credits currency to spend on in-game microtransactions.

Wait, really? Why? It's supposed to be $80?

Hnggg. I wanted a physical copy in case the community died, but Im really tempted.

Wait what's the difference? Is this a one time deal? I dont want to miss out on this after missing out on Amazon's deal

Doesn't seem like a one time deal, though the price might be a US to CAD error so it could be. Check it out before its fixed (if its going to be fixed) if you really want it.

$60 vs. $85ish ...

Hm. I want to take advantage if this is some error, but I'm too afraid to make such an impulse purchase.

The U.S has this for $48 used! $48!

I'm trying to get a Gaffer to send me a copy, which will come out to like $58 maybe total. And that's for a physical copy.

I think I might just bite the bullet and hold off games until Uncharted, which I'm getting for $50 thanks to the Amazon buy 3 deal from the beginning of the gen

Not sure if I want Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. I managed to get two 30% off discounts on my one order, so it seems like my order has gotten 45% off in total, but a bunch has already shipped, so the remaining games should have more than that. Anyone know if Amazon can tell me exactly what they will charge for Mario & Luigi, before it ships?

With the increase in game prices, I decided to look to the past for entertainment. Picked up a 360, 2 controllers, Kinect and 23 games off kijiji for $140. Purchased xbl gold and I think I'm set for 2016. I already have a ps4 but I've been really dissatisfied with the current gen library. I spent the day playing cod 4 and mw2 online and they are as fun as I remembered. I never really played the 360 last gen so I'm looking to catch up on the good exclusives from last gen. If anyone has recommendations, I'm all ears.

Gears got me to buy a 360 back in the day.

Also everything Halo is awesome

A stretch of the Trans Canada Highway at a very specific bottleneck in Northern Ontario was apparently damaged, so currently there is no way to drive between Eastern and Western Canada, except via the US.

Thanks Trudeau.

Bridge was opened on November 29 after 3 years of construction.

Not sure if the old bridge is already demolished. Work on the bridge was not planned to end before 2017.

Incidentally, it's often faster to go through the US when traveling from east to west as they have better highways.

I don't think so...lol.

Anyone know where/if it's possible to pick up the AC Happy Home Designer n3DS bundle? I'm on mobile and places like EB, Walmart, The Source and Best Buy all appear to be out of stock. Amazon only has resellers at $400.

Want to grab the small n3DS before FE Fates comes out next month.

Can't remember where, but I saw one just the other day. Might've been at a Walmart.

I do my taxes with the same information on all of them (UFile, studio tax, simple tax) and then pick the one that gives me the best return.

crazy that there's literally no other routes to get around this thing without crossing the border

Last year was the first time I did it myself, I bought UFile though. If you wanna save paying the small amount of money then I think Studio Tax is fine.

Been using TurboTax (was quick tax before that) for years. No issues.

I use simpletax. It's free and easy.
Oh. 3 different suggestions. Time to look on this.

And based on your experience, which one gave you the best return? What's the tally?

It's my first time doing this tax return by myself. Hopefully, I won't screw it up.

It's not that hard, but for the past two years they keep auditing my tuition fees and it's annoying cuz extra work.

Just make sure you read.

The paid ones are a little more user friendly, but if you want to save the 10-20 bucks StudioTax is fine even for your first time probably.

Do you just have the T4 and tuition stuff? I don't think it's possible to screw that up.

Best not to over think it, just try any of the 3 and go with it. I've been team StudioTax for years.

I used both Simple and Studio Tax last year and both had the same return for our family - prefer Studio Tax as nothing is stored online other than the final submission.

It looks Windows 3.1ish but works great and the wizard is very straightforward.

Yeah, it seems like it. I only have T4, student loan, TTC and minus the RRSP. Plus, I also need to work on my parents income tax return. I think I'm okay at using Studio Tax or maybe Simple Tax.

Regarding the broken bridge, I find it kind of amusing that "Northern Ontario" sits south of pretty much every major city west of that province.

People in Ontario don't know how geography works. Just look where "Western Ontario" is.

Someone also once told me there's a "North" and "Toronto North."

There's a bunch of that fun here too.

West Side Vancouver, the western half of the city.
West End Vancouver, the neighbourhood at the red marker.
West Vancouver, a separate municipality north of Vancouver.

Whenever I told people in Toronto that I was from north west Ontario (almost at the Manitoba border) they would say "Oh, Barrie?"

They wouldn't believe me when I told them it was a 23 hour drive to my town.

Most in DT Toronto don't care about anything north of Bloor. Everyone else in Toronto doesn't care about anything north of HWY 7. :P

oh cool. btw if you are feeling antsy, it doesn't hurt to try last year's return with last year's software and see if you can get the same result. that should give you the confidence to proceed.

but either way, don't sweat it too much.

Anybody interested in codes for gears of war 1,2,3 and judgment. I have way to many games to play and I doubt I'll never play these games.
I don't take responsibility if the codes don't work. I got them in my live message

seriously fuck our usage of "west". Then again, I guess no matter what, everything with "West" means "Hope you brought $$$"

Also we have a municipality called North Vancouver which is east of West Vancouver. Both are collectively referred to as "The North Shore" because whoever named them individually suck.
