That instant remorse.
Definitely can wait at that price.

The remorse is surprisingly not that bad.
Which scares me more.
Exchange comes out to $843 CAD.
I just realized we may get duty on this depending on how they ship. No taxes were charged.
is your ship date in april? i could have sworn it was in march before

It was March when I went through the process.
Looks like the March allocation sold out.
Man... When this thing was announced years back, weren't they eyeing like an affordable consumer price of like $300 USD?
thank god
it gives me more time to cancel if i actually go through with this pre-order
i'm actually searching to see if google cardboard is compatible with my phone
I have it. It's good but it's not true VR. Works with my iPhone 6 Plus.
I think the mass market consumer solution will eventually be something like Gear VR.
Why is the Rift so expensive.. is the Gear VR comparable to the Rift at all? Or is it more like a fancy cardboard? I was looking at it yesterday when i went into Bell, they had it in a case so i couldn't try it.
Advice: I am budgeting for a wedding and I was thinking of selling my copy of Demon's Crest. I've seen them on eBay for > $100 but I'm reluctant to sell it there as I've never sold stuff there before and therefore have no feedback. Plus, scams. With Kijiji, I'm limited to those in my general area and therefore probably won't get top dollar for it. Is there any other good ways people can suggest?
I should probably fire it up and see if the battery pack is still functioning. It was a year back when I played it for a bit.

I'm pissed at myself, I intended to grab that PS4 350 dollar bundle deal during boxing week, didn't pay attention to the last day of it. Any idea when the next significant sale of it should be? Any particular web/real stores to watch that regularly have similar deals?
The game has been on sale for $20 so if you want the demo its kind of not worth paying over $20
Regarding Oculus...
I can't imagine how exhausting a person would get with that (or any head mounted VR) on my head for any lengthy duration of time.
Prediction: VR headsets around the world will be collecting dust within a month of people getting them. Or they'll bring it out when someone new to the tech comes around.
Pass.

nah, they'll definitely be used daily for porn if nothing else
Ask for advice on the snes collectors thread: http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=511429&page=100000
The VC release kind of hurt cart values a bit.
Most of us buy snes/sfc stuff directly from eBay or other people we trust.
If you want to sell it reasonably fast for cash then eBay really is the only way to get market price for it. You should require for the item to be sent with tracking but there is always the risk of scams anyway I guess. You could also write in the auction that you will cancel the winning if the seller has less than X feedback rating and 100% positive.
There are other sites and forums for collectors but as a new member you always have to ship the copy before you get paid and I don't know any that are focused on selling but rather trading. Getting cash might be hard there too.
If you're in Montreal then I can give you a hundred Canadian in cash for it if it's a cart in good condition. I've been wanting it for a while but buying from the US isn't something I'd want to do until the dollar recovers.
No such like with Start.ca. No cable line = no Internet, DSL or otherwise.
Cable has nothing to do DSL.
DSL/FTTN = phone line (eg Bell owned lines)
Cable = coax (Rogers or cogeco)
I always thought most if not all homes have a phone line wire? Even old ones.
Huge thanks to both of you (EDIT - and to Mike). Maybe I'll start selling some other games I don't want on eBay just to get some status/practice before trying to unload the big one.
And sorry, I'm in London ON.
Trump's invading us? Well, I guess that explains why he won't put up a wall like he's going to do with Mexico. He's just going to annex our lands and take our oil.

Okay, this Amazon order update shit is getting ridiculous.
I have two e-mails for Star Fox this morning (barely over an hour apart) and one for Final Fantasy XV. They're coming more than daily now!
Anyone getting all the VR stuff is going to spend like 3 grand on goggles alone. lol
