They talked me into trying that once when it was new. It wasn't bad, and I did like it, but the price was outrageous. I don't know if that's changed.

The lady at the drive-thru asked me if I'd like to try it, so I said sure, and paid something like $2.50 or more. Something crazy in comparison to Tim Horton's, because it ended up being in a small cup and heavily overpriced.
 
I actually always felt guilty about buying these types of drinks. I remember in University my friends circle will go to some Cafe in between our classes, but I would refrain from it. Some of them would offer to buy me something, thinking that I would feel left out. But it wasn't that. I don't know where the guilt comes from either.

On a side note, this Timmy's Hot Chocolate is giving me a headache.

Edit: a dude just asked me for a dollar. I said don't have any money. I have five dollar note, but I was not going to give him that. Man just what I need, more guilt...

Never feel guilty for not giving out money to stranger man, and is it because of the sugar that is triggering dem guilts?

No, never really cared for sugar or calories. It might have something to do with frugality. I immigrated from India and I had lots of friends there who would kill for my kind of middle class privilege. I guess the guilt comes from there.
 
I started drinking blacks to save cals/sugar lol.

I have a coupon left from the Starbucks for holiday drinks, might be my last sweet one for a while.
 
I would have expected at least a couple of weeks into the post-holiday dead zone before hot chocolate was dominating the thread.
 
The new Killer Instinct is free on the Xbox games with gold for this month. Downloaded it, and purchased the season 2 add-on for $20. Heckuva value!!!!

Having lots of fun with this, such a satisfying fighting game and you don't need to learn so much. Took me about an hour to put together combos really easily.

Such an awesome game if you want to test your stereo equipment too :) crazy bass and wacky colours on screen - the character models are the BEST.

iunno I always get combos so I ask for hot chocolate over coffee. I don't know how much drinks are at any restaurant due to that >_>

It's pretty easy to pick up and play but it has a lot of depth too. I'm trash at it like I am with every fighting game though. Got bored if it eventually because of that.
 
Crap, the quilt I bought my Mom for Christmas already has a rip. Hopefully they'll be able to exchange it this weekend and not give me a hard time. It's only been used for a week.
 
I ordered a 3ds game on amazon on dec 26th (Maiden Heaven) and it still hasn't shipped. I complained a few days ago, and the agent upgraded the shipping to express, and it STILL isn't even preparing for shipment. Meanwhile, Best Buy sent me my 20th anniversary ps4 controller the day after I ordered it.

There, a break from the chocolate talk, some nostalgic shippingbitchinggaf! ::P

Congratulations, I could only get 25 hours in before I gave up. Fun game, just not enough depth to play more than 25 hours.

same. also looking for xbox gold for cheap. I regret not buying a few months back when it was $38-$40. Cant believe there were no boxing day deals this year.

Firewatch, PvZ Garden Warfare 2, Gravity Rush Remastered, Mighty No. 9, Mega Man Legacy Collection (Physical) and Project X Zone 2, Street Fighter V, Pokemon Red and Blue (Eshop), Digimon World Cyber Sleuth, Fire Emblem Fates and Naruto Storm 4.

To my knowledge, those titles are releasing in February. There maybe more and/or dates may have been changed.
 
Still waiting on that physical version of Gravity Rush Remastered in Canada. Not even VGP has it. :/

I don't want to import it from the US, especially given the USD --> CDN exchange...

dammit Jest, I knew you'd take that literally. yeeeeah that list is no bueno. I'm getting about none of those next month except those two I mentioned :p

probably Red/Blue when it goes on sale (so never? lol)

Hm, only ones of those I'm getting are Digimon and Mega Man - and the latter is only because of the amiibo. I suppose I'm getting Gravity Rush Remastered as well, just waiting on the price.

Was going to get PvZ GW2 at launch because I enjoyed the first one, but considering how fast it dropped to sub $39.99 prices I think I can wait.

To be fair, part of that is because Garden Warfare 1 started at $39.99. That said, I'm with you--will probably get it eventually, but not day one.
 
Does EB and/or Best Buy accept French copies of games for trades? I'm assuming they do if you're residing in a french province, but what about other provinces? I have 2 copies of a french game I was hoping would be french packaging but still have English dialogue. Turns out that's not the case. Be a shame to just throw these in the trash.

EB should. I accidentally bought a French game once and they took it. I didn't know what else to do with it.

LOLOL Yeah, I'm one to go the distance sometimes. February will be an expensive month for me. Might just do some cancellations.

We can assume the gold Megaman Amiibo will be standalone at some point right?

Didn't see this until now! Thank you but my French is poor these days, so you wouldn't be able to have a great conversation with me :P

I ended up watching a French countdown with friends as we couldn't find an English one, and we panicked.

It was pretty great.
