IMO, NHL 16 isn't worth 5 bucks. After I discovered Ice Tilt is still baked into the game, I haven't played since. Graphics are nice, gameplay is still the same.

Yeah, I sold NHL 16 after 2 weeks. I really hate the series now.
I know it's a different sport but NBA 2K series is so much better if you're a fan of hockey and basketball.

I kinda want that ice blue Gamestop exclusive Vita. Are there any special trade in deals I can take advantage of? It seems like there's a "+25% on things in our Boxing Day flyer" but not sure if the Vita is part of that.
I have an 3DS that I could trade in (upgraded to a N3DS) and I don't think I'm going to play Tomodachi or Bravely Default ever again...
(Is EB going to want the power cable for this 3DS? The cable has a small tear in it...)

For anyone opening up a Seagate drive for the purposes of using it in a PS4, it's shocking easy if you use a guitar pick. Don't use a screw driver, unless you don't care about the case I suppose. Probably the hardest thing is removing the USB adapter attached to the USB interface (which makes reusing it kind of a pain in the ass).
I already have a Vita but I want the slim one for ~reasons~
The internet consensus seems to me that it's more of an equal tradeoff.

Most people say that the gap between the LCD and OLED screen is not so significant that it's a real deal breaker.
I was just using the Vita 2000 at a friends' house and the screen seemed great.

OLED has more vibrant colours and better blacks, but the slim LCD arguably has more accurate colours. Regardless, chances are you won't really notice unless you put the two side by side. So, you know, don't do that if you think it'll really bug you.
Better buttons? The original's buttons are already really good lol (particularly the d-pad). Except for L and R. Those are shit.

Yeah it's L, R, and the "all important" Select and Start buttons that are better.

It's clearly a pretty minor update. It's no DS -> DS Lite that's for sure.

LCD screen is way superior though. Less power use, usable outside, more accurate colors, doesn't get damaged with use & will still be good 15-20 years from now.

I've been trying for a few months trying to get an answer from Sony regarding the release. 4 mentions from Twitter saying 'We'll let you know', an two e-mail responses saying I'd be contacted in a few business days (a month ago)and I've given up.
I'm importing from the US, since it appears that most sites selling the Asian version charge USD and will be the same price as ordering from the US, but have an increased chance of import taxes/duty.

Is that a sale price? Considering the thing's dead, I just assumed they were being cleared out at the same price as a Vita TV.
I just ordered that Aqua Blue Vita [EBGames]. $30 off is a good price, and I doubt I'll be able to get one much cheaper than that for a long while [at least brand new]. I already own several Vita games but no Vita. Yeah, I'm crazy like that.

My 1000 touch screen has been acting up for a while now... might grab a 2000 next year if the price is right. Funny how I only play PSone games on the vita... so much better than the PS3.

Extremely unlikely, since it's just a port. All of the original DLC for the game is included (on dsc).
Systems can drop quite low, but this comes hand in hand with low stock. Technically they can eventually be found at a lower price, but at that point you gotta be real lucky to find one.
I grabbed my PSP Go at $99 when ebgames was blowing them out and it was one of the last in town.
I'm trying to find a PSP Go and having a bit of trouble so I don't entirely agree there.

Though I had that thing today where I could still see the rhythm circle in my mind some time after playing. I seem to get it on rhythm games and match-3 games. It probably means I'm crazy.
Do I have to finish P4G first? I got P4D due to LE bomba, but I haven't finished P4G yet.
Maybe people don't play in the dark like me, the LCD screen is way better for that.

Finish P4G first. I know Dancing All Night spoils details of Persona 4 in at least one non-obvious way, though for the most part the plots are separate. Even outside of direct spoilers, Dancing All Night assumes you're already familiar with all the characters and have seen them grow as people and as a team.
Yeah, I played about 10 hours of Golden and mean to go back to it, and Dancing All Night has some things that do spoil the story. I'm mostly sticking to Free Dance for the time being!

That looks about right. Slim has muted colours, or OG has saturared colours. Your poison, man. I'd check how Gravity Rush looks on my own Slim, but my sub ran out.

I don't know all the hubbaloo about Vita screens and what the shelf life is on these thing are. According to my doom and gloom sensors, OLED Vita don't last long and LCD last longer because it's LCD man those things have been around since dinosaurs.
I got a back up plan to the back up plan to back up my back up plan. If my OG dies, I got my Slim. But if my Slim dies, I got nothing. I'll pick up a Vita TV for $10 since it plays half my games and is a bad back up plan
If your in Toronto, or some other city, try your local games shops. I saw a couple at Iceman Games on Queen and Bathurst.

FYI in Canada now service providers are required to unlock phones for a minimal fee. Last I checked with Telus its ~$35 unless you've been using the phone for a minimum of 3 months, then its free. Probably won't be AS cheap as online, but no dealing with some shady site having your CC info so...
That's true..my OLED Vita shows dead pixels whenever a CG cut-scene is playing and i think it's a pretty common problem with the OLED models, other than that everything is fine and it doesn't affect the gameplay.
I was so excited to go and purchase the Blue Vita, but i chose to spend the money on an Xbox one + 5 games bundle as I had a 145 $ gift Card from The Source, speaking of which, they haven't shipped my Xbox one to my closest store yet and no signs of shipment. although it says 3-4 days pickup in store and it's been almost a week already :/
never dealt with the online source before and will never do that again
