Mall was insane guys. Not as bad as yesterday tho

Just sold my Vita. Gonna open my blue one when I'm home

So you sold your vita to get a blue vita. THAT COLOUR WANTING!

I remember when the DS finally came in that awesome navy blue, got on that shit immediately. Way better than the original silver/greyish scheme.

The enamel navy DS Lite remains the only console I've ever imported

I needed it bad

also: RIP Lik Sang. Fuck Sony.

My 1000 was damaged and dented, and I wanted a white one anyways.

Dat aqua blue doh I just opened it up....

Did you trade-in your 1000 at EB? I have one and I'm getting the fever for that blue one.

I sold it for $120 due to the damage, on craigslist. Threw in the case and some games that were cheap and I didn't want.

I sold it so I can justify even picking up another system lol.

Actually isn't there extra trade in value for flyer items? I don't think they'd give you that much for it though.

EDIT: have some awful photos to not convince you, it's a little deeper blue than the photos i think - just due to the flash.

This is probably a stupid question, but is it possible to ask Amazon to delay shipping?

I have a package coming on New Years Eve but I'll be with my friends all day so I'd rather have it delivered the next day

Did you have a grip? If so, does it fit on the 2000's?

Nope I didn't need/want one. I kinda want one for the slim though. I just bought tempered glass screen protector.

I gave my vault case to the buyer, he seemed to have purchased mine since his broke. Was some really awkward kid lol. I should have kept the AC adapter pieces but I brought them just assuming he never had the system.

Other than Ghibli, your best bet is going to be the Rightstuf sale. Although the USD and the 250 minimum for free shipping is probably going to kill that unless you have a lot to buy.

Yeah RS is not an option given our ass dollar and cost of shipping.

Seems like Chibi is the only thing on sale. I went to HMV and nothing that I wanted was on sale.

So suppose I don't pay for these things, where does the mail go? I ordered headphones so I don't think the box will fit in the mailbox so it would have to come to my door.

A card would probably be left at your door stating that you have a package ready for pickup at your nearest post office. Usually around 1pm the next day. I can't remember if there's a time limit to pickup your package before they RTS (return to sender).

For people in Québec, Archambault is clearing out its game section. 50% off games and accessories, 30% off consoles. I managed to find quite a few nice things: $25 each for Zelda Triforces Heroes and Animal Crossing HHD, and $20 for Persona Arena Ultimate with the Teddie punching bag! Most of the biggest games were already sold out however (no Fallout 4, Smash, Battlefront, etc.). No idea how long it has been going on. Deal is in-store only, as they already removed the games section from their online store.

That looks sooooo nice... but no OLED, no upgrade for me :(

Anyone have an opinion about buying a mechanical keyboard refurbished? (Or buying a mechanical keyboard in general? )

If you have a great PC and play a lot of competitive games then go for it. Otherwise I don't think it's a very good investment. You can use the money to invest in a bigger SSD or better monitor.

I disagree with the competitive gaming part, mechanical keyboards are also amazing just for the normal typing experience, coding, annoying sleeping partners, mashing enter when you are angry, etc. The ones marketed are usually targeted towards gamer though (Corsair, Razer, ect), but there are a bunch of non gaming-oriented models (Ducky, Poker, Das Keyboard, Keycool, customs..)

For your question, refurbished should be fine as mechanical switches are made to last for a while.

If you have question about switch types and such, I would direct you to the Wiki from the mechanical keyboard subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/wiki/index, we might even have a mechanical keyboard OT on gaf, I am not sure.

Be careful, this is an expensive hobby if you really get into it!

Not a gaming deal, but so good:

Gillette gift sets are down from $30 to $12 at Shoppers. Includes their best razor (the flexiball one), 3 refill cartridges, body wash, shaving gel, and a fucking travel case. I think the razor on its own is $10-15 normally? This is a sweet purchase.
