Wtb sweet deals for Plus or Live. Anything?

im also looking for these. plus hasn't gone on sale in a long time, I think sony price fixes them now so ill probably end up buying from Costco. live was on sale on cdkeys a month or so back and I really wish I would have bought then. the only reason I didn't was because it usually goes super cheap on boxing day but I guess the dollar killed that deal.

Odds on seeing any new interesting deals on Amazon at 3am this morning? Yesterday brought us the Wii U controller deals and the 50%/35% off various games, which honestly were some of the most interesting video game deals by far. I wonder if they're saving anything for Boxing Day proper or not.

Amazon told me I can't adjust unless it's within 7 days lol, he told me that he'll give me a free return and i can reorder.

Considering how disappointing the game is, I'll do anything to save that 9 bucks, I guess I'm gonna reorder lol.

EDIT: DOn't think this is a deal but One Piece Unlimited World PS3 and 3DS are $25 on amazon lol.

Try another CS rep. Same thing happened to me last night. I tried a new rep, and they refunded the money so I could cancel the order on the second game.

Anyone know if the Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition (currently up on PSN for half price, $50) comes with all of the DLC, including all the various retailer skins?

The listing says that it is the game and the season pass, but I don't want to jump on this and then have them release the eventual GOTY edition that includes more stuff

I think last night the 50% and 35% off deals went up between 12am and 1am EST, so hopefully we'll find out soon.

So they do adjust then? I'm gonna try again and try to cancel that shipping return label then, I don't really want to have to return it.

Season pass comes with everything I believe

Subhroneel: I am sorry but the price match will not be possible. You can surely order it again with the lower price available now.
Me: I would like to speak to your supervisor

Yeah now I'm annoyed. Lol...

I think you got lucky, they seem pretty stern on the policy even after I spoke to a supervisor. Wtf.

I'll just reorder, I don't wanna waste more time arguing.

EDIT: I forced them to upgrade my shipping on the replacement -_-

I am on the fence for boxing day. Maybe CADGAF can help me.

I love my 3DSXL and 2DS. I have been thinking about getting my hands on a PS VITA (which is on sale for 169.99CAD tomorrow at EB) or a New 3DSXL Hyrule edition (also on sale for 229.99 tomorrow at EB).

There is no game I know I want on the VITA but a thread not too long ago praising its games popped up around here. I have a PS4 with PS+ already so I am sure I would easily get into it. I am however a badly burned owner of a PSPGo which I did not enjoy at all and I fear the VITA might burn me the same way.

Getting a N3DSXL will improve my already enjoyable 3DS gaming I'm sure but not by much I gather.

TLDR;
Do you think I should get a N3DSXL to improve my already good 3DS experience slightly or explore uncharted gaming territory with the VITA risking disappointment?

I'm trying for the Vita cuz it's blue, will probably sell my 1000 one which is damaged anyways.

I would never recommend a Vita under normal circumstances, but you already have a 3DS. Just get a Vita, it's a whole new device for you. Have you played Persona 4? You have to check out Golden if you haven't. N3DS is just not necessary at this point. I don't think the 3DS's successor is that far from being announced.

As much as I love my Vita, I feel like if you didn't like the PSP/PSP GO then you're not going to like the Vita that much.

If you've had PS+ for a while, Vita would be a great choice for the install backlog. Depends on how long you've had PS+. They gave away Killzone at some point.

$ 75 in-store.

They should match it with online price, right? That's what I'm hoping for...
They were selling it yesterday for few minutes with discounted price, then changed it back to normal. When they decided it's sold out, they discounted it once again.

Go Vita. I went from the launch 3DS to the new3DSXL and that was just so I could get it with MH4U. All that's really different for me across everything I have is the screen size and battery. Would rather have kept my money for a Vita but I don't play many new things these days considering my backlog. Also now I just let my little brother play the OG 3DS since he's obsessed with Yo-Kai Watch. So that was a win for us, I guess.

I only ever watch a couple of Blu-rays a year. Most of my time watching movies is spent watching them on TV, or watching DVDs I purchased for my collection but never got around to watching.

I stopped buying Blu-rays after a year or so because of the above. But The X-Files is one of my favourite shows and it's hard to resist this price.

never forget those sweet, sweet cineplex blu ray deals a 2 years ago

I still have two free tickets left from that too, expiring in February haha. What a legendary deal. I bought 20+ Blu-rays I think, maybe 30+. Doubt I'll ever see anything from the Criterion collection that cheap again too.

OK well so far answers seem more pro vita for my case. Still not 100% convinced but I'll sleep on it and pull the trigger tomorrow. Thanks again CADGAF!

It's a TV show from the 90s, blu-ray doesn't work miracles.

From a thread about these Blu-rays:

They filmed the whole series using cameras way ahead of their time. The airing versions of the show were cropped to 4:3 and reduced for televisions at the time. But since due to how they recorded it, there were much higher quality versions of each of the episode they had stored away they thankfully kept on hand, and good they were insightful enough to think the quality would eventually matter in the future to record like that.

The much higher quality versions started popping up in some weird countries like India in 2011-2012, but only in very odd regions with X-Files re-runs. The whole series was updated on US Netflix earlier this year to include all the HD versions of the episodes in preparation for the new season coming out next month (weird to realize it's a month and a half away). I know Canada recently got the HD versions on Netflix too. And this is the first time they've been sold (and due to being Blu-Ray, probably look a bit better). I've been re-watching the series on and off the last several months with a friend, we just finished Season 4, and I can say those look great and watching the whole series with the HD versions is worth it, and I imagine the Blu-Ray looks nicer. But it seriously looks good, it looks like the series could of been filmed within the last few years, not 22 years ago.

Well that's interesting, I had no idea!

Perhaps the biggest improvement you will see with the N3DSXL are the speakers. It's also faster and yaddayadda, but it doesn't matter since only one game requires the N3DSXL. It's a side-grade at best.

I think Vita is worth owning for Persona 4 Golden, but you can play that on VitaTV which is substantially cheaper. Any Vita-only exclusives are basically old enough that you probably shouldn't bother, other than Gravity Rush which is coming to PS4 anyway.

Crap. X-Files is still sold out.

I guess I'll need to try to get to Best Buy by 6am.
Why didn't you order form Amazon?

To be fair, the price of PS+ hasn't gone up with the falling dollar. You are actually paying 36USD for a year of Plus now. Which is why Americans are buying Canadian codes.
