GTA is $39.99?

I dunno if i should just buy or wait for $30.
$10, not that much. You'll be waiting another year at least, it is always $64, almost never goes on sale. Just buy it if you'll play it within the next 3 months, then sell it to EB, you'll get your $10 back and then some.

seagate isn't THAT bad
is what i keep telling myself since i bought a 2tb seagate hdd today
Yeah, they are bud, sorry to say:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2089...eals-the-most-reliable-hard-drive-makers.html

Every Seagate I've owned has failed, not a single WD has died on me. Small sample case, but it only backs up the data in the study. Do yourself a favour and order the WS for $10 more and try to cancel your other order or return it when it arrives.

Would it work with a PS4 ?
Not the model I bought, but most portable externals can be opened up and the hard drive can be used. Buyer beware though, it depends on the interface and the passport has a in-built SATA to USB which won't work.

This is a Real easy to upgrade though, I've done it. Just search for ps4 hard drive upgrade on YouTube to watch how it is done. The hard part of any of these hard drive upgrade projects is salvaging the case of the external HD so you can pop back in the 500 GB hard drive that came with your PS4 so you get a new external hard drive. You also need to back up your data but there is a new option on the ps4 to back it up quicker, Google it for more details.

Make sure to check the model is thin enough to fit the PS4 though and has the appropriate interface to plug in to the PS4, to be honest, I have heard the Passports are not eligible. I would do some research before you commit. If you just want one that will work, I would recommend this Seagate if you are worried about compatibility, this model linked here is the most common one used for PS4 upgrades and will work 100%. I am using my WD Passport as an external on my Xbox one.

Seagate bought Samsung, so I guess it doesn't matter, but they have Samsung Spinrites inside the enclosures.

I picked one up because I figure it'd the cheapest way to upgrade a PS4 drive nowadays. But yeah, I'll keep a WD for the Xbox since if it fails, it's only Xbox data anyway which should theoretically all be backed up in the cloud in some way.

The old 80GB drive that came in my PS3 is actually a Seagate haha. Still going strong even though the PS3 itself YLOD'd a couple years ago.

I use that drive for my Wii U now.

Bought. Thanks !

Now all I need is a PS4 lol

Nothing really interesting in terms of gaming for me this year... looking for earbuds and an office chair tho.

A good deal on noise-cancelling earbuds that I can wear while I jog would be great. Bose QuietComfort 20 are quite tempting but are way too expensive.

It also infuriates me to see the prices of Herman Miller chairs in Canada compared to the States... over twice the price on certain models.

Earbuds are old news, get IEMs

MEElectronics make excellent ones at a good price, you can ask in the headphones thread for which model is best now

Haha nice! Today is a good day to buy one. Here is a video of how to install this very Seagate HD in a PS4.

Again, hardest part is the case removal and only if you care to keep the case of make an external using the 500 GB HD, which I would advise you do, because why not?

I'm really tempted to do this... but I'm not sure I want to drop 100 dollars just so I don't have to delete games I probably will never play again anyways. :S

I've always been told to avoid Bose, I assume that is still the case

IEMs =

If you can afford the $100, go for it, you're paying for convenience and flexibility.

I think I bought that PS Anniversary Dualshock 4 from Best Buy just to have bought something for Boxing Day, which is ridiculous but there it is. What a sad set of deals this year. If my local record stores don't have any decent deals then Boxing Day will be a near-complete wash.

I see a buncha stuff I want but nothing I'm really clamoring for. that ds4 is also the only thing I bought.

Isn't that supposed to be hard to find these days? Nice.
It was until they did a reprint.

Apparently Americans don't even want our version with "playable in French" written on it, which is fine by me, so I wouldn't expect our copies to get ridiculously expensive if it goes out of print again.

Is Until Dawn on sale anywhere (physical copy)? I don't see it on sale anywhere, figures that's like the one game I was waiting for Boxing Day deals on.

Hey guys and girls, I'm getting a New 3DS XL for Christmas and just realized, oh hey they don't take the standard memory cards. So got to get a micro one, any idea what the biggest and best kind goes with it? I looked it up on Nintendo's site but I take it there are more and varied kinds out there.

I got a package the same day in the morning after it arrived at Memphis earlier that morning

At one point the delivery estimate said it will arrive the next day even though it was already at the local sort facility

Yup I lucked out and it made it tonight, donno how but it came on time =)

.....is it safe to not preorder Fire Emblem Fates (not LE) and just reserve a copy on the midnight of the release day?

Awakening did sell out in physical for a short period after release. Fates has three separate SKUs, so you might have better luck this time, or Nintendo's awful fulfillment decisions might make all three SKUs incredibly hard to find. There's no real way to know because Nintendo.

If you want it day one, pre-order. Nintendo stuff always seems to be under-stocked unless it's one of their huge tentpole games like Mario, Zelda or Pokemon.

I got one of these at that price. Although the reviews doesn't do any favors it seems. No problems with me though

These days I pretty much buy Sandisk exclusively, and have never had any issues. I have a Sandisk Ultra 32GB microSDXC in mine.

Hey guys! I have no idea if this has been posted but Night of Azure is finally up on Amazon.ca. Hopefully there's going to be a 30% or 20% off before the game comes out. Here's the link for all who are interested:

http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B017GY07L4/

Yeah I saw it, I'm tempted to ask Amazon if they can give me the discount but kind of lazy right now.

Anyone getting a Blue Vita from EB? I'm tempted, I wonder if it's going to be limited in stock though.

That picture floats around a lot and has been highly criticized.

Selecting a Disk Drive: How Not to Do Research

For what it's worth the 2 Seagate drives I've had has worked out for me so far. Certain WD models have built-in energy saving features which reduces the read speed (not ideal for consoles) I believe?

Thanks for the quick replies folks, I ordered from Best Buy. Got a 32 GB because more is always better.

Unless it's poison.

Or a tumor.
