They countered with $23 lol. Too bad I ordered two pairs of some other Chinese brand for $22 together that apparently sound better than the pistons.

The shitty part is that they take a month as they're being shipped from China.

Kz hds1 & ed9. I'll have to find the link on my pc. Probably depends on what genres you listen to.

If you want a pair for the gym, the ATE-S.

Read up on reviews. I'll probably get a second pair depending on which one I like more. The HDS1 is the cheaper of the bunch. They all have versions with a mic as well.
 
I keep checking this thread hoping for a great deal. Even the return of 10 nuggets for $2 at Burger King.

Canada is so disappointing these days. I'm jealous of the 'mericans.
 
I hope boxing day is good this year. Getting 3d world for 35 one year and smash for 45 the next was great. Hope Mario maker goes that low. Looking through kijiji everyone is pricing it at 60, which yknow, I can't blame them.

I ended up biting the bullet and got one from EB. If you want in stores options, the outlook is grim.

Speaking of headphones. I think Xiaomi offers a classic earbuds in their line up called Mi Piston Pods. It was one of the better "cheapass" options out there but sadly it only lived for about 4 months before dying.

Two dollar nuggets are coming back on December 28th apparently, I asked a week or so back at my local BK.
 
The $2 nuggets deal was good at first but after a certain point, you could taste the nuggets getting worse in quality. Or maybe that was just getting used to eating shitty fast-food nuggets so much.

I see a few people saying that there are stacks on shelves. I've checked out Best Buy here and their shelves were bare. (I'm in Victoria)

I'm fairly sure at least one EB here is out of stock too. I had thought that maybe it was suffering from a stock shortage or there was a run on purchases due to the Wii U version raising interest....but not out east.

I'll keep checking around, thanks for the responses.

Well, I think they make a ton of them at once when the promo is on, and they sit. So if you get some that have sat, they'll be lesser quality.

Haha, no.

I slept most of the weekend, perhaps because of new pills I'm on, and hadn't eaten in a while. I knew I'd be up all night, so I wanted to get something substantial. But I should've known BK would be closed, and ended up going to McDonald's where they screwed up my order.

I love my controllers, though. I'm disappointed that they haven't announced any new ones.
 
Is there anywhere that sells Arkham Origins for $10 on the 360? It isn't available digitally on the console, and I wondering if there's anyone knows where to find a good deal on it.
 
Did anyone manage to secure one of those Persona Q Wild Card Premium editions for cheap when it was on sale on Amazon.ca a few days ago? I'll pay someone extra cash if they'd pass one on?

Cronus Max, http://cronusmax.com/ availible at BestBuy.ca and Amazon.ca, I have one and I love it. You need a USB Hub as well (4 port) to bypass Sony's controller authentication, or you will get a controller disconnect/reconnect every 10 minutes.

I suspect you're not from Canada, so hopefully this info is helpful: I suggest checking our usual "big box" stores websites for pricing and check their "weekly flyer" links: Amazon, Costco, bestbuy, ebgames, real Canadian superstore...anything else people suggest?
 
I finally had a chance to pick up my Xenoblade and the package is super damaged. Even the cover is a bit ripped. I actually changed my mind on keeping it. Will Best Buy still take it in?

Did Best Buy ship it to you?

They should take it back. Tell them you don't want it after receiving it in such a condition.
 
After two more emails, they refunded the difference (including taxes) on my CC concerning my Just Cause 3 pre-order (former FS E3 deal). They charged me full price on release and just refunded 30$ to match the correct price. Yup, so I finally can open my JC3 copy.
Can't wait for my next order to ship. I already wrote the email waiting to be sent lol.

Amazon has yet to ship Devil's Third. Guess stock levels must be pretty bad all around; I got an E-mail from Best Buy today showing it as only in stock online.

Yeah. I didn't fully open the envelope so it's in a state where I couldn't have taken it out and put it back in so they should believe me hopefully.
 
Finally got my copy of Xenoblade X from Amazon, who only charged me $19.71 for it (don't know why, didn't ask). Is it at least as good as the Wii one? Does it look/play well using OFF-TV? Was it a small production run again? Not sure whether to open it or flip it.

I'm knee deep in Fallout 4 and just started Steamworld Heist, not sure when I'll get around to it.

I plays fine using Off TV, although I find most of the text almost impossible to read doing so.

Uhh even on my TV the text looks tiny on my large TV.

I tried playing on gamepad off screen and it's barely worth it. I feel it would make me go blind. If you don't try to read the text it might be OK.

I've played a little bit off-tv. As far as playing goes, it works okay. There are two issues I have with it:

1. You loose the separation between map and gameplay. Being able to quickly glance at the map or even set your character on auto-run while you check out a few things is useful. When you bring the game to the tablet (which takes a few seconds to switch) you can't easily keep tabs on both instances.

2. Text is horribly small. You can make out most of it but I have to often bring the tablet up almost to my face to try and decipher it.

Edit: I'm assuming you're Canadian? Amazon.ca had a pricing error or something and the pre-order price guarantee brought down the price of the game. Unfortunately I already had an order from Futureshop so I didn't think to order from another retailer.

Edit Edit: Derp. Thought this was the Xenoblade OT, of course you're Canadian.
 
Remember that DRAM class action lawsuit that was posted earlier this year? Well I got my $20 cheque in the mail today. It's a Festivus miracle!

I'm just hoping for a good $369.99 PS4 bundle, it's pretty much now-or never when it comes to PS4 Prices, as my bet is on them increasing again in the new year. (Damn Canadian Pesos)
