Bought a few of them in case of price increase... our dollar isn't looking too hot. I also didn't get charged tax on this. Is that normal?
I tested this before posting it on Twitter. Amazon.ca actually didn't charge tax when I brought it to the checkout point. One of the few online retailers that got it right.

I ordered something Sunday from Amazon and it shipped today... I don't get it.
Free shipping? For Mario Tennis, I had free shipping and they wouldn't ship it out on time. Complained to them about it, said it was a stock issue (even though it was in stock on .ca the entire time) and then bam, magically shipped within 12 hours after complaining.
I had that same issue with Super Mario Maker. They claimed it was a stock issue and then it shipped out an hour later.
If you're gonna withhold packages because I select free shipping, just fucking say so. I hate this shady shit they do to try and save face.
I may wait it out till Boxing Day as I found a spare code I bought during the $30 1 year subs back in 2013. Good times
By the way, good catch on that deal Backlog. God knows fight sticks aren't cheap, especially with the current dollar. Told my friend and he got his order in.

For fuck's sake... Bell is batshit insane. February 1st TV goes up 2$ a month, Internet 3$ and phone 1$. That's a 6$ raise in a month. They also raised internet and phone on August 1st 2015 and TV on April 1st 2015. Increase the quality of the services my ass!
I used to pay $95 before tax for 100 mbps and TV at shaw back in 2012. Now it's $140 before tax. $45 increase in 3 years :/

I'd take this as a sign that you might want to compare what you could get by ditching Bell, unbundling and maybe cutting the cord on cable altogether. Between a smaller ISP, a cheap antenna and a non-Bell non-Rogers phone contract, you might get all your needs met for a lot less.
Or maybe not, you're the expert on you.

That price is making me reconsider cancelling that fight stick that I pre-ordered for $164.99
I can't speak to what you can get for NFL games you'd get OTA where you live (if you can pick up CTV and some U.S. stations, it might be quite a few) but NFL Game Pass is at the very least less expensive than a year's worth of cable. It's by far the worst-priced online streaming package of the four major sports, though.

Yes. Unbundle, maybe buy your own equipment (for prepaid or voip phone and TV), negotiate tv every year and be prepared to cancel if not meeting your price.
Then add start.ca as your internet. Approaching 3 years and still same price with zero outages.

Hmm, I don't remember exactly but I think it must have been at least 3 or 4 times, so not that many lol. Not to mention when they did go up, they were gone fast. Unfortunately based on what Best Buy is saying though, it sounds like they might not get any more stock than just what their getting tmrw, so that may be the same case for Amazon too.

I refuse to get Prime since it's shit compared the what US subscribers get. I also don't order from Amazon frequently enough to get much out of the shipping deal.

Thankfully I already have mine pre-ordered, but I wish those still on the hunt the best of luck. At least Best Buy's website should [hopefully] hold out better than EB.

I'd be more worried if your dad gave out any information over the phone (ex. did they ask him to confirm delivery address). Either way, good luck with the call to the real Canada Post, hopefully it's just a weird screw-up.
