Are the Xbox Elite controllers ever going to come back in stock? I want spend a stupid amount of money on a controller, but they won't let me!

Amazon.ca had them in stock yesterday afternoon for about 5 minutes. It was posted in this thread.

Man I had an order from the 18th at the Microsoft Store, and it simply said 'ships on November 30th' all the way up until yesterday. Getting into support chats was useless, calling them was a waste of time too. They assured me it shipped, but I got in on the Amazon stock yesterday (and they matched Microsofts price, it was 10$ higher on Amazon.)

I cancelled my Microsoft order because I just didn't want to deal with them anymore, hilarious that I was able to cancel it even though I got a guarantee that it shipped.

Goodluck on getting one, I checked Amazon totally randomly and it was in stock, perhaps you can use a website that alerts you of product stocks?

anddd it's happened again. just checked my tracking status, and it says that a delivery card was left 10minutes ago since no one answered the door
no one came to our door or anything, which means the guy just left the delivery notice in our mailbox down the street and left.
guess that means I'm playing Xenoblade tomorrow now

UPS is the worst for this, I literally have been walking to my building and have witness him leave the truck with no package, leave a notice, and drive away.

SO infuriating.

Fight sticks are always expensive, but since the move to the current gen systems their prices are even more ridiculous (IE: they were sub-200 still during the previous gen).

Didn't know sites like that existed, haha.

Seems like a good thing to allow for preorders, then make them to the demand!

Edit: I checked amazon right after this and it was in stock, ordered!

Yay bad decisions nice and early in the day! Haha.

i've actually never had that bad of an issue with UPS, it's always been CanPost or Purolator I have the most issues with

It definitely comes down to the driver.

My:

UPS guy is amazing. He will swing by my place on his way home and try again if I didn't answer the first time he came.

FedEx is neutral

Purolater guy can go die. He immediately leaves a slip that I wasn't there and immediately marks it for pickup at their shipping facility.

Can post is can post.

The only tolerable one in my neighbourhood is Canada Post. The rest all attempt delivery at the worst times and their facility is outside the city in the suburbs (i don't have a car)
 
Any positive news for those of us unlucky Canucks that couldn't order the Fire Emblem Fates SE in time?

Other than Best Buy, are there any other likely options on the horizon?

I would guess that Amazon will restock it a few more times before it comes out like they did with Xenoblade. Other than that though, I think Best Buy is the only option.
 
I love how Xenoblade X is in stock and ready to ship before Xmas on Amazon.ca, but Amazon can't be bothered to ship my preorder copy 4 days post release.

This is why I kept my Fire Emblem Fates preorder on Best Buy. However, an additional $3.50 off Xenoblade X ($49 vs $52.50 after the 30% discount) got the better of me.

I'm glad I wasn't dying to play it first week.

Same thing with my Best Buy order. It has been sitting in the depot for a few days now with no movement. I'm thinking it must be the holiday rush... fingers crossed it didn't get lost in the shuffle.

Urg this is just one of the many reasons I hate this time of the year so much. Canada post tracking isn't that great the rest of the time but now it's completely broken and everything takes longer to arrive then it should :<
