I think the character 'ugliness' may be due to the fact that the characters are getting older in the timeline, I'm still a strong believer this takes place after third strike.
I mean cause if it's before, they need to explain why Ken goes to Tan skin to pale again in third strike.

There were 12 returing characters so prepare for it to thrn into overboiled pasta.
I like Vega, hope he's as fair and honest as he was in Super Turbo.
In my opinion, Cammy's face looks amazing. Most of the characters in this game look amazing sans 1 guy's hair and 2 guy's faces. Definitely the best looking fighter out there for me.

He looks amazing! Love his redesign (is this an alt SFIV costume?) and the new moves, but I feel he's going to be the character I'll use less from the ones already announced.

Vega is the very first memory I have of SF2. I got whipped crosseyed by him and immediately wanted to be terrifying with that character.
Never happened. I'm shit-terrible with him in every iteration of the game. But maybe this time...!
Seriously though, he looks quick and flowing, and I love stance characters. Making the claw a switch is great, I just hope it's fast enough to be mixed into a combo sometimes.

Well, Someone leaked that super marvel vs Capcom 3 was on way. How could everyone forget that Lupinko and his friends were teasing who would get in the game.
I remember that they leaked phoenix wright and frank west easily. I remember those hints for firebrand and other few characters. Poor Lupinko, people really backlashed back to him after the pictures got uploaded by accident.

Every single character so far is a massive upgrade from SFIV in my opinion. The character designs of 4 is the one thing that kept me from getting super into it. I'm all in with SFV. The designs are a real upgrade.

As I remember Ken Bogard and Siliconera lists are still possible, and both at the same time. And well, Ken Bogard guessed the V-Trigger name, the roster size, the DLC strategy and more. Regarding characters as I remember he said the names and some clues of the 3 remaining new ones.
Btw, he also mentioned weather stuff in the backgrounds. As I remember it's the only non-roster stuff he mentioned that still needs to be confirmed (or debunked, they may cut it due to lack of time, performance issues, etc).
Well, in theory, only half might be from the original cast, eh? If 8 are originals, 4 from other titles, and 4 new, that's HALF the cast not being SF2!

Very unexpected to say the least. While I'm not against his inclusion in the game and think his new moves are pretty great, I'd rather have more SF3 or Alpha characters than another SF2 character since the starting roster is only 16 characters. Only 7 characters are left with 3 of them being new characters the what's left is 4 veteran spots.....please no more SF2 characters.

Capcom laughs at both of you as they prepare to roll out annoying troll monster, sumo headbutt guy, generic boxer who only has dash punches and a headbutt, eyepatch fireball spam guy, ridiculous hairstyle guy with only two special moves his entire career, spinning lariat guy, evil indian witchdoctor stretch dude and whoever else was considered a funny design in the early 90s but Capcom keeps trying to convince us are who we want to use.

It's his v reversal now. Also back dashes have no invincibility.
17 - You couldn't play as Seth or Gouken in the initial arcade release.
Not sure if there was a patch that balanced/polished their moves before they became playable.

The visuals in this game are insane.
People getting annoyed over Vega's face seems silly to me when 90% of the time you won't be seeing it. I don't think his mask can get knocked off anymore (if it can, they haven't said anything about it).
On the other hand, I think the complaints about Ken's face/hair are valid, even though it doesn't bother me that much.
