Street Fighter V: Vega Reveal Trailer

I'm pretty sure none of the trailers have used the character themes, and judging from the released snippets of themes for Ryu and Ken, we should get a pretty sick remix of Vega's SF2 theme in the game.
Agreed, they really nailed his design. Not too big on his face, though.

It is not terrible, this is what brings people back.
This is why when you mention Street Fighter you think of the characters from Street Fighter II and not Street Fighter 3.
Get over it.
There will be more non SF II characters sprinkled in, and more as DLC.

Vega's a great addition. So far predictions have been off, which is why I'm hoping they bring back this character and re-do his fighting style so he isn't a shoto.
Sean needs to come back.
I think there's something to be said about Capcom using too many SF2 characters to try and get a good number of lapsed fans in the door, but I don't think Vega is the way to do it. Vega has never been high on my play list, and he simply looks ho-hum as ever to me.
It feels like
8 from SF2
4 from Alpha
4 from SF3
at this point. Maybe they cut 2 from SF2 and get 2 from SF4 in there, like Juri and Abel, but this is the first character they've chosen that I'm not sold on.

Like I said, the reality is that most people will be crouch-creeping and poking like there's no tomorrow. Fun!
And in honesty I have no dream roster personally - I don't really even have a main; I just wanted to see more new or unseen characters from the Capcom archives. The familiarity / comfort characters are already in the roster for people who haven't touched a SF in ages, why add another old school World Warrior. It's not about wanting my favourites in (though Urien would be cool... and I say that as someone that barely used him in Third Strike

Because of the image shown at the Capcom panel that seemed to section off the roster into groups of 8, 4, & 4.
Well I'm sorry that the same boring, re-hashed characters from 91 keep appearing in every game. I'm SO sorry that people don't love these characters and are sick of them taking up spots of other characters that haven't been seen since 99 and earlier. I hope you can forgive me for not liking the clear signs that this series is going to constantly re-use the same goddamn characters every game 'cause 'this is what brings people back'.

because, IIRC, there's been a bunch of other "leaked rosters" that lined up with the siliconera leaks that are now debunked
But the four characters that Siliconera supposedly revealed could still be in.

Yes, because looking at the rest of the roster, they are all definitely wearing real fighting gear...
Everyone wearing real fighting gear would make this, any fighting game pretty damn bland. No one wants that.

Really hoping there won't be 8 SF2 characters though I'd settle for 8 characters that were in SF4
Basically the only remaining SF2 character I wanted in the roster. On top of that, they redesigned him the way I hoped they would. His backflips is now just his V-Reversal and he can combo from his Barcelona. So is his V-Trigger a rose that leads to a homimg slash attack? It seems like he can cancel into it, as well.
Aww but Vega is like the fucking worst character in the series.

Fuck are you talking about? Every fighting game ever reuses a ton of the old characters. There will be plenty more characters revealed and plenty added as DLC.

Vega looks cool, was hoping he'd be in the game since it seems to be more footsie based. Also no focus attack really helps Vega out in this one.
