Forza Motorsport 6 has "wet weather, 3D puddles and night races" + more

Was about the say the same, the level of simulation just isn't there in FH2. I would buy FM5 for a third time, but it gets boring really quick and I don't wanna be burned out before FM6.

It's just really disappointing considering I bought my xbox one just for this franchise.

Pretty much. The dumb gold medal thing for top three is lame and I've really soured on the career mode last few games.

I'm just sick and tired of 3 lap events starting at the back. Even if they dont have qualifying, at least add a damn slider so I can bump the same career races up to 30 laps if I want to.

Maybe Helios has some old DL codes cluttering up his desk... :P
 
Mascot, Fm5 has some tracks pCARS doesn't. Personally, I'd get it just for those. Long Beach, Yas Marina, Bernaise Sauce Alps, and Prague. Good stuff.

And I'd get FH2 as well. Super fun games, the FH series.

Agreed, Long Beach in the DW12 is worth the admission fee (IMO)
 
Probably worth noting that Horizon 2 is currently on sale at £22.50 on the Xbox Store. Get yourself the Porsche pack while you're at it :p
 
I had the OG Horizon on the 360 and loved it. FH2 is definitely on the list. I'm guessing I can pick up FM5 supercheap somewhere - don't i need to boost GS on that to get some rewards thingamajig?

Not to mention that Forza 5 has the only laser-scanned Nurburgring on Xbox One too. :D

You can try to set your region to Germany and claim a code here, but you have to be active on a console before.

So it probably wouldn't work for you, except you contact support via chat after you received the console and ask them for a code. that's how I did it, because my gamertag wasn't recognised somehow, but I don't know if foreign users qualify (but of course you could also live here as a British, so who knows...).

Last time I checked (in the uk) horizon 2 only had it's season pass on sale and horizon 2 was not on the store front, only the deluxe editions.

This sort of stuff happens all too often with games on xbox one.

*edit* looking for the first time today, horizon 2 is now there and on sale.

Can you import vinyl and car designs to FM6 from FM5 does anyone know? Feel like I saw it confirmed somewhere but can't find it.
 
Well, I think I have to say farewell to Forza Motorsport for the foreseeable future. Really had my fingers crossed it'd be announced for PC, but that didn't happen.

Fairly sad about this, but I'll get by.

Iirc the codes can be redeemed twice. Once on amazon and once on the ms store, so the code you used might still be usable.

I still get a kick out of Forza 6 not only putting in racing in the wet, but differentiating themselves with 3D puddle tech. Well done.

But has there been any word on AA improvements? Aliasing and long load times / menu transitions were my only real complaints with Forza 5.

Well, from what I've heard the game is a nice graphical improvement over Forza Motorsport 5. The problem is that Forza continues to improve image quality up until launch... so we really don't know how it will look when it finally comes out.

Remember that after Forza 5's E3 they even increased the car count from 12 to 16 before release.

Xbox section on IGN (and gaming sites in general) having been losing attention every year. That`s what happens.

lol.. 3 runners'up as multi-platform. The two best games on PS4 wasn't playable, and of course they are exclusives.

Only 3 games on WiiU?

edit: dIdn't saw any Turn10 tweet about awards either. Looks like all journos ignored the XB1 this year?
