I was thinking "The Phantom of the Opera" maybe the next group is a drama club?

Lord help us.

Same here, I know many of the fans really want it to happen but some things should just stay as they are, and Makoto's death is one of them.

Totally. Given it's been set up that Elizabeth is trying to release him, I won't be surprised when it happens. I won't be too angry, just a bit disappointed. I get why people want him to live, but sometimes bad things happen. It makes the ending more impactful and makes saving the world actually mean something because it required actual sacrifice.

- "Take your heart"
- Top hat
- Mask
- Warning message with cut-out words
- "The Phantom"

Looks like they're going straight up with a phantom thief theme. I wonder if it'll be a mix of heist and mystery with a warning message popping up every month, and the Phantom will try to steal something from one of the party members (memories? soul?) at midnight on a certain date, and you'll have to stop it.

TAKE YOUR HEART could be from the Phantom's perspective, and the characters would need to take their hearts to become unshackled. That makes much more sense given the themes.

EDIT: Actually, this makes perfect sense. Why would MC write a ransom note written like that if he was going to take someone's heart?

I think that main thing is that they are doing a build up and have been doing so since the first Persona 4 Arena game. If they are not going through with the
"revive"
and they still build up to it I can see why people get disappointed.

I always felt a little bad for Yumi being so unpopular. I mean, she's nowhere near Ai Ebihara levels of social link greatness, but her problems were pretty legit for a teenage girl.

Also, her social link is way better than the music girl. I chose the music club the first time I played P4... Never again...

I think she's okay, it's just that her social link takes such a dramatic turn into an awkward situation.

She's better than the chick from music.

Or it could be foreshadowing that Potter-kun will be even more of a player than You.

People have been clamoring for it since that tiny hint in P4. I honestly won't be surprised if a P4:A game eventually gives it to them since it's such a fan service (and frankly, terrible story wise) game. If that's the case, I can just write it off as a dumb side thing. My biggest disappointment would be if they devoted time in P5 to that. Time to move on.

Why the fuck i seeing a stream of golden in japanese , when i can play the game until the next ??? event ,

Fuck this ... im going to sleep

She's great and very tragic.

She has very realistic family problems that lead her to give up her artistic pursuit.

Spending extensive amounts of time with P3 and 4 is pretty much the one thing I really have on my "Please DONT do this" list for Persona 5. It really needs to be its own thing with only a few nods at best.

I agree and, I hope, Atlus knows this is what needs to happen as well. Pre-Arena and Persona 4 milking they've been doing, I would have loved to see one of the P3/P4 characters show up as a older party member. Now, they've kind of spoiled that idea. I totally want to move on. Only characters I'd really be ok with seeing again in long stretches would be the Velvet Room residents.

I could never do it because Music Girl's character design is so terrible. She clashes with the rest of the game and is perhaps the worst design in Persona 4.
Preach. Her voice acting was awful too. My only regret when I played the game was picking the music club

I hate the rap Persona music. Listening to Beauty of Destiny, and it is just bad.

And, this goes for all Persona music, but I have no idea what they are saying. It's all gibberish until I look at a lyric sheet.

I didn't even pick a culture club the first time I played lol

I got a sports club but then didn't really pay attention to all the stuff about the culture clubs, where they were and the last day to join.

Dunno if this was thrown out already, but maybe we've already seen the Phantom - like, what if it was the flaming entity we saw in the TGS trailer?

Clubs in general are something I'd love to see reworked a bit in P5. I would love to have a story progression not only about the characters in the club, but the club itself. Things like playing in games, putting on concerts, doing plays, whatever. Would make the whole thing feel even more like a real school experience.

I gotta say with the masks and red colour scheme I definitely can't help but get Persona 2 vibes and that's not a bad thing.

I don't expect to get much more from the older games than that, I'm not even sure if it's all that intentional, but it's pretty nice.

I actually liked her's because she's one of the few in the game that isn't just this super-go-lucky-happy affirmation of character development that was already in the game, lol. I really didn't like the playable character Links in P4 because they hardly added anything we didn't already derive from their dungeons.

As someone who Platinum'd P4G, I believe choosing the music club may be literally the only thing I never did in the entire game.

I did it once to see it through... still might have been more painful than the Hardcore Risette Fanclub trophy.

I'm with you (not sure how spoilery it is but just in case)...
Rejecting her feelings at the end of her SLink made me feel genuinely bad. It was sad!

They're not building up to anything. -To think otherwise is a misinterpretation of the story.

Being fair, having this epiphanies in the middle of life threatening borderline delirious situations are a little hard to follow in the day on day life basis. Is already hard not to fall in old habits even without that...

While this is true, that same distinction is what likely played a role in her bringing down the vibe of the more happy-go-lucky P4 S. link cast.

Even Hisano had a melancholy dignity to her, Yumi....not so much.

I like Yumi over Ayane, but that's honestly because Ayane's design feels moreso out of place, even as a younger student.

Something like "Notice: Tonight, I will be visiting the Nippon Budokan."?

So there is going to be an announcement at that live show thing?

Maybe his voice actor's going to turn up in cosplay? Or they'll announce a stage adaptation at the same time as the game, and show the actor playing him.

Anyone here ever watched the Nijuu Mensou no Musume anime? It was
initially
about a thief who pulls off the most outrageous thefts. I think he had a thing about announcing what he was stealing before the actual theft.

I wonder if this poster is working along the same lines. "Tonight, I will be at Budokan" and then he steals... Lotus Juice off the stage.

I always feel really bad when I reject her. Her scene kinda hurts the most.

Potterkun with red eyes... Please tell me he is the bad guy and the good guy.

Or maybe he lives in the underground to break free from society/school? Nah that would be stupid.

Whole Elizabeth's story was basically:
Hey, I am trying to find a way to get you back! I need more power to do that though!

Then she acquires the Fool Arcana and basically goes: Maybe with enough powerful people I can do it!

I honestly can't see that as anything else as build up. Then there is the fact that she is out on a quest specifically to get him back.
