"Stahp blaming Namor for flooding Wakanda, he wasn't in control!!" is such a hilarious argument.

Namor knew what he was doing we he sold out Wakanda to Thanos, knew what he was doing when he signed up with the Cabal led by Thanos who earlier wrecked Attilan and Black Bolt and didn't try to resolve any of this until after all other options had been exhausted.

The blood price had to be paid.

So where exactly IS Wakanda? I know it's in Africa, but I never knew where it was supposed to actually be geographically beyond that. I know there was some speculation from an Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer that it might actually be underground in the MCU, but I really don't know how it's supposed to work in the comics. I remember loving BP in a variety of comics, but I don't think I ever read his dedicated series because I could never find it in stores.

For real, Namor had that shit coming. Apologists be damned.

i dont know if its underground. howard stark seems to have a marker of where it is in iron man 2

Namor is still the main character of the Marvel universe.

against spider man? unlikely.

Yeah... like 98% of that is Batman.

I'm not entirely sure how this changes things... though I am pumped for the Black Panther movie.

he was batman before batman was doing the dark thing

He is uncompromising in his values. He is a man who is all about staying true to his values and ethics. He is focused, resolute and unwavering.

He is often unrestrained when he puts his mind to something. He never issues an apology for controversial decisions that need to be taken in times of turmoil. He looks to the greater good
, always counting potential casualty.

Such a hero...a king of an African nation unspoilt by any invasion from the west, a man whose nation stands on its own feet with no aid from any outside source. A hero who needn't run away or hide from any authority; a man who isn't an alien to earth, a man who is someone from amongst us yet superior.

Yeah... like 98% of that is Batman.

In this general area, it shifts, but usually around the same place.

Batman in theory but far from application. Batman is a damaged man on a fools errand that he knows is futile. T'chaka gets shit done. If you lined up Cyclops, Batman, and Black Panther and offered the safety and security of their people forever. But they have to cut off their left arm. Batman would be the only one that hesitates. Batman won't make the hard choices.
I miss Kasper Cole.

The Crew was too ahead of it's time

gambit was far more recognizable than nate. love him or hate him, you know who he is.

Is anybody anywhere excited about a Gambit movie though? I realize it's probably silly to be asking that post GotG, but c'mon. The list of X-Men characters who should come before Gambit is a mile long.

xmen with solo movies? wolverine, cyclops, storm. who else? and i think it depends on how stockard channing attempts to do gambit

Marrow, Stacy X, Cannonball, Whizkid, and Maggot should get solo movies before Gambit

I would watch Cable, Nightcrawler, and Iceman movies before a Gambit movie. Give me a whole movie about Magneto hunting down Nazis in South America.

Thanks. I always envisioned it being near Kenya, so it's good to see I was right. If they want to explain in the movies how it remains so hidden, I would just explain that it is considered a demilitarized buffer zone a la Luxembourg but one in which only a select few outsiders are even allowed information about its true nature. I'm anxious to see how they present it.

I haven't read comics in years, is there somewhere I can read a synopsis for all this Namor vs. Black Panther stuff?

Sounds interesting.
