Well now I can expect to play with more of the high profile people. I am off to streams to feed off the salt of those on ps3 and 360 expecting new fighting games. :E

Alternatively, Sony are the ones who wanted to do it and thus would fund it.

Do you ever consider anything but the nondescript "moneyhats"?
People who don't play fighting games are the ones most affected by the moneyhats; if the sfv reveal thread is any indicator. Let him vent.

Dahbomb you questioned how anyone could defend Destiny's multiplayer online experience. Sounds like hating to me. Like I said, opinions etc.

And let people cry about console exclusivity. The FGC has been used to that shit for years already.

Holy shit the Curleh JUST finished? Not that these ever run on time, but I swear every Battle Royale one they do runs hilariously poorly. Crazy.

Maybe. Those were in cross tekken too.

Looking at it again, I'm dead certain that's what it was. Whenever it happened in cross tekken it had that ground splat effect when you hit the ground. Same thing happens in this SFV trailer. Glad they're taking some of the ideas they used in cross tekken.

Seems pretty much a foregone conclusion now that the PS4 will be the standard tournament console for the beginning of next gen at the very least. I still expect a pretty good shelf and tournament life from KI though, and we'll see how well the new Smash integrates into existing FGC events.

Remember reading that Dimps was made up of a lot of ex Fatal Fury and Last Blade people back when Rumble Fish was released. That showed in SF4 since there are quite a few elements in it from MOTW.

Now they are putting in the stage breaking from Real Bout, wonder what else will be in there of the sort.

You get to play ruu or satou in gear yet?

Nah, I was busy getting drink and casuals in UNiEL, today I ran DFC (53 big bracket) and commentated Persona. I didn't enter any tournaments cause I'm like running stuff and hooking people up with things they need. All my casual time was basically UNiEL and P4U2.

Ended up 9th in my tournament, got a poster for it.

I got cocky because it was so easy during the earlier rounds and ended up picking ganondorf against a competent player which got me into loser's bracket.

Was an uphill struggle after that and I was eventually taken out 3 rounds into losers 2-1 by a really good sheik player in a down-to-the-wire set, I'm hoping they upload the replays or something but I doubt it, they had quite a few technical difficulties at the time (the bracket software actually crashed the laptop at one point and we had to re-register all of our games so far).

I think my main problem today was matchup unfamiliarity, a lot of the people I faced that beat me or came really damn close were characters that I rarely encounter (MK, Bowser and Sheik) so I was a bit too slow to adapt in some cases.

The first thing I thought after being knocked into losers by a Bowser player was "If only my connection was good enough to play with Kartsticles then I might have had some familiarity with the matchup" haha.

I had a much better showing than my Mortal Kombat "career" anyway, so I don't feel too down on myself.

Since Street Fighter V is gonna be playable at Capcom Cup, I doubt it'll change much from there.
I'm guessing arcade release middle/late next year.
