Welcome to the club. It really is addictive unlocking stuff in the game. I don't even know what unlocking sometimes, but I like it! I actually like that the single player content is kept brief. In about 15-20 mins you can beat classic mode, but it will be one of the quickest 15 mins ever because the game is so enjoyable.
I've put in about 15 hours in the game and There's plenty of content I haven't even touched. I don't know what Street smash, stadium mode, and some of the online content is about.
I know Nintendo will save the longer play sessions modes for the Wii U.

Strange enough, I experienced a glitch twice. I was playing All Stars mode. For some reason Flying Man didn't shown up during All Stars. I'm not sure if it was intentional.

Any tips on getting the 3280ft Home Run Challenge? I got 3240 with Ike and just can't get higher after trying for an hour last night.

Hahaha. DH is just perfect for me at least. I really need to learn how to be patience with him and be aware of the space game. He's pretty good with controlling the space against certain characters but I need to learn how to handle him completely other characters before I declare myself being good player. I'm still working on them and someday I hope that I would show it.

My biggest hope is they make a patch to allow stages with the platforms without the hazards.
Spam side smash/sparta kicks with Ganondorf and finish with a reverse warlock punch.

Yup, I like that we can save our matches to review what went wrong.
I want to become good with Rosalina (because it's my daughter's favorite character), so I'm saving good Rosalina player matches to learn their techniques.

While I'm waiting to pick up my wife at the airport I'll speak on this match I had with a little Mac player.
He was naturally very aggressive and put a lot of damage on me initially. Palutena doesn't die easily though and I just started baiting and dodging his ground game and putting big damage on him with my attacks. A lot of her normals have good priority and I was able to out reach him with the staff. I also did a lot of juggling from the down throw. He didn't even need to be high in damage. I'd toss home off the edge and use my forward smash to keep him away from the edge in game 2. Even when missed it blows the opponent away.
It felt so good. Then after two matches he left.

Really baffling that they can't just let us play as these or the all-star versions of stages. They are already built into the game.

Pfft, I wish everyone would switch to Little Mac. Free wins against 99% of the people who play him and just dash attack.

I've gotten so good at beating master core I think I can 9.0 him with most people if I try. Few exceptions are the really weak ones, like metaknight, but we'll see.
I can dodge 95% of his moves consistently. The arm grabby thing is still kinda luck based, since you have to be in a good position once he starts, but other than that, I think almost everything else is really easily dodgeable.
But this is my 2nd time beating him with everyone... so I've now fought him well over 50 times, heh. I'd hope i'd be able to dodge him after that.

I was wondering if it did. I'm at 67% and have had some tougher opponents. I've seen quite a few shulks lately.
Reverse warlock punch sends sandbag much further than the bat at higher percentages.
Haha. I'm one of the those that think Mac is balanced, no air game or recovery, throw me off the stage and hit me and I'm done. With some characters it actually becomes a mission to be able to hold your own. But I love that trying to overcome it

Anyway, I felt so bad for this one guy in For Glory. He kept using all my secondary/side characters, so I felt compelled to use them next and I beat him every time. Eventually he stopped picking new characters so I used Dark Pit lol

Fought a really good Luigi player that pretty much kicked my butt. I was doing good with Wario, but never beat him lol.
Then I picked Yoshi AND I WAS SO CLOSE. It was great practice though, which is what matters. Losing to players like that is a good way of learning.

Totally. My earlier post about an awesome Villager I fought yesterday is the same thing. I mean, I certainly got frustrated, but now I know a little better.
When you find someone on For Glory, who is around your skill level, It's so much fun! I just got into a really cool battle with Sheik, I was Zero Suit Samus, it was so fast paced and my face was glued to the screen. I won the first battle, and Sheik won the second battle. I wish 3DS has some way of messaging other users, because I would GG that.
