What are talking about? According to podcast Beyond this game has real hype behind it :|Good call, with FH2, DC, and Project cars this holiday. This game won't have a chance. If I were them I would release it in Q1 2015.
1st Release - Spring 2014
2nd Release - Fall 2014
But they announced the 13 November = winter
3rd Release - 2nd December
They delayed it three ! times !!!
well, your partially right.... it really depends on the game. some games that are more 'gift-able' tend to do really well in December; like, cheaper games or casual/family titles.
november games for a lot of core games do better since people buy them for themselves on black friday, as an example.
though 'not release at all' is a bit extreme. you can still do better in december than a lot of other months of the year, for example. like the summer.
They should delay it to Nov 2015. The only racing competition then is presumably Need for Speed and Forza. This year has too many racers.
The system appears to be similar to the monetisation model found in many free-to-play games, with players able to earn in-game credits by completing missions and challenges, or short-cutting the process by purchasing currency with real cash.
Just saw this.
Welp. Game is now dead on arrival for me.

Since then they've said performance parts can't be bought, but they haven't been at all clear what the microtransactions are for yet.
Yeah. I know it is a fairly old article. Do you have anything that says the retracted about microtransactions on performance parts? Article says you can.
