Level 9 Master Core as Dark Pit

Finally, finally got him to the core part. There's literally nothing I could do to fuck this up now.

Electroshock arm, he bounces further than I expected. Another electroshock arm, I barely miss him and go flying off the edge, dying.

LMAO that's gotta be the worst feeling ever in Classic Mode

It really is. There is honestly nothing interesting about it. just a big hole in the center walk off stage DX Very uninspired waste for a X stage imo. They could have just made a hyrule temple style state out of it even.
Now I'm reminded of all the levels that are missing. To be completely honest, I can't think of any new stages that I'm really crazy about due to a lot of them having annoying stage hazards.

Um, the online is kind of...strict?

I was in a 4-Person For Fun Smash and a friend came online, so I figured, it's not For Glory, and there's still 3 players left if I leave, so I'm not really ruining a game for anyone. I picked Quit from the pause menu and went to make a With Friends room and get told:

Time until you can play
online again: 9 min 45 sec.

How did you survive the sword part. -_:

They could only fit so much on a cartridge. Its scary to think Sakurai wasn't even going to make a console version until Iwata approached him about it -_- Sakurai thinking "smash had no were left to go on consoles." which makes NO sense at all. Sakurai is such a great developer but really annoys me sometimes with his reasoning for things. Why would you try to focus the next iteration of smash on such a limited platform -facepalm-

Sweet Mithos Shamrock. Your Ness is amazing. Only complaint is when you grab me and it looks like Ness is trying to fuse his face into Shulk's body.

Shielding and dodging.

When it does the five swords clumped together and coming at you slowly, I usually just get up high to bait it and then get as far away as I can.

The part where the swords go into the corners and slash one at a time, you just need to make sure you get the timing right, direction doesn't super matter if you're dodge rolling. Just make sure you don't get hit by the final slash, it will probably kill.

Just got two wins in For Glory off aerial counters when down on percent. Good feeling...

Then a loss trying to use Ike's inferno on someone attempting a toon link down air instead of his counter in the same situation.

Bad feeling.

It's a weak package but a great game.

This is my impression too. There just isn't enough single player content and the stages aren't great like even ones I was hyped for like Spirt Train have awful gimmicks that ruin it...like a Battle on a train sounds awesome but then they make the train occasionally just go off screen because reasons....like wat...also the Yellow Devil is the worst stage hazard in the history of the series. It legit makes me avoid fighting Megaman in Classic mode.

However the game is super goddam fun, the characters all are fun to use this time out and 8-10 hours over the course of 3 days is money well spent. Good primer for the Wii U version at the very least.

And everyone ends up just clustering together in one of the top corners, leading it to be pretty much the smallest walk-off stage ever. And yeah like you said, just uninspired too. I expected more from Xenoblade.

Oh and I was playin with a friend when you join earlier. Your ZSS was good.

Ah. It is the clumped attack that always kicks my butt. I will try baiting it.

Yeah, I have no idea what he was thinking. There are so many improvements that could be made to Smash on consoles. The Wii U version could have been the first 5-player Smash Bros or the first with really awesome online community features. Meanwhile, the 3DS only limits what can be done in a Smash game.

Nice one! Playing almost exclusively Little Mac for all this time has ruined my perception of other characters. Like they have useful aerial moves. And don't die the second they drop below the stage line

Haha, I can tell. I'm trying to focus on always moving around with Greninja. I catch myself to often just watching people jump back to the stage. Gotta be proactive.

Anyone else playing with Sheik? I just can't seem to kill with her...even when I get my opponents up to like 130%, I have trouble finishing the job. Is there something I'm missing? What's supposed to be her finisher? The slap is gone, and her forward special is way too easy to read/dodge/counter to be very useful vs a skilled player...

I know I'm in the minority but Smash Run makes me miss SSE from Brawl.

I actually agree. I'm apparently one of the few people who actually enjoyed SSE.

I wish there was a scaled down version of SSE. No crazy expensive cutscenes, just a bunch of levels. Basically something between Melee's Adventure mode and Brawl's SSE. It would've been something more to do in the single player game besides just playing Classic mode over and over.

I agree. Im just happy to finally be playing smash 4, but to be honest I probably wont touch the 3ds version after the wiiu version comes out xD except messing around on the go. The wiiu version will just be insanely more variety / stages & such.

The matchmaking doesn't seem to match me with many local players in Australia! I finally was matched with someone with a good connection to me and someone knocked on my door, so I had to leave my 3DS and I was disconnected for idling. :'(
