Buster does the most damage. You can hit it three times, just as long as the last hit isn't a tipper. Then hit B 8 times to get to Smash mode and get the tipper with the bat for an easy 3200+

Eh, but still. It's so nitpicky because it might as well be random. It's certainly not easy at all. The Ganondorf route is much, much easier because you just brute force smash attacks.

I have to say that the movesets for newcomers this time around are very bland. They seem to follow a pattern and not be very imaginative or unique to the fighter. So many swords, so many counters. Duck Hunt's is one of the most unique thus far, though. Reminds me of Snake.

I think Rosalina is fairly interesting too even if her Down-B is a counter variant. I've seen it used to great effect against certain characters (e.g. - an aggressive Villager with a Gyroid).

Come to think of it, most new characters have fairly interesting moves. Greninja's counter may seem disappointing but I think his Side-B is quite cool. Bowser Jr. has all interesting specials. Little Mac sort of needs his counter and his other moves all feel appropriately themed and satisfying. Wii Fit Trainer has a power-up for a Down-B.

Then pick some other stages? People over exaggerate how bad the stage roster is, there are plenty of non-omega forms that are still perfectly playable. Corneria, Brinstar, Prism Tower, and Arena Ferox are all fine. Mute City, Reset Bomb Forest, and Tomodachi Life are arguably okay too.

Agreed. I like a lot of the new stages even when playing competitively 1on1.

Every newcomer has an entirely new mechanic except for Greninja, the clones (duh), and arguably Palutena (since the Miis share her gimmick) and you say they're unimaginative? Please tell me all about how Villager plays exactly like Shulk who feels just like Little Mac, I'd love to know.

Edit: Forgot about WFT, guess she doesn't really have a "new mechanic" either unless if you count her weird movement/hitboxes.

Anyone else super sick of the lag in for glory mode? It wasn't bad the first two days but today it seems to be every single match I'm in where it just stops completely to buffer. Really annoying and makes me not want to play as it'd affecting how I play.
I haven't noticed that for the most part. Either you have really bad luck or it's your connection.

Yeah when I play Shulk I use the following mindset with my Monado

- Shield at the beginning/when you're really high percent. Lets you get a few more hits off.
- Jump when I'm not doing too hot. You can also keep people off the stage pretty well with it. "There's a reason it's the first one"
- Speed when I'm going vs Lil Mac/Shiek/Someone with projectiles. Helps dodge people pretty well
- Buster when I'm vs a slow guy like DDD, DK, Bowser, Ganondorf. You can dodge most of their stuff pretty well and the extra damage boost helps a lot.
- Smash when I know I'm winning and I have someone on the edge. You can knock someone off the screen with your side charge when they're at like 60% if you have Smash on. Air slash also has pretty good kill potential.

Villager indeed is one of the best in terms of imaginative moveset.

I didn't say Villager plays exactly like anyone, nor Shulk. Fix your eyes.

Some may have a new mechanic, like Villagers tree, but there are also a lot of variants of the same type of move within fighters (one example being counters).

Haha, dude, either I suck or your great with Little Mac. But this is great! This is making get better, so as long as you can stand my shitty Greninja, keep it coming. Promise my Mario is better, he'll come out at some point.

I hope you don't mind but I'm saving that replay
Of course not. I'll just have to get something replay worthy on you. :P

Using the Shield art at the beginning is a bad idea because it kills your mobility. It's best to save it when you're at high % (preferable after you've KOed the opponent). Buster should be your go-to Monado art at low % due to the damage buff.

You just said "newcomers", so it was a bit vague. It seemed like you were saying they were all samey, which is simply untrue.

I can agree with the counters though, especially on Greninja and Palutena where it's unnecessary. Shulk/Lucina/Little Mac would make no sense without counters though.

Level 9 Master Core as Dark Pit

Finally, finally got him to the core part. There's literally nothing I could do to fuck this up now.

Electroshock arm, he bounces further than I expected. Another electroshock arm, I barely miss him and go flying off the edge, dying.
