Hey are there any other Yoshi mains on GAF?

I'm trying to develop mine right now, but I get stuck against faster characters that tend to be smaller/skinnier (Wii Fit Trainer/ Toon Link) since it's harder to do KO moves on them. I'll have them at like 140% when I'm below 100% but I go in for KO moves an end up getting killed and I have to kill them on my second stock.

When I tried this at E3, I found that the jump mechanic was a tad finicky, as in you'd have to almost perfectly press up on the circle pad to get it to work.

Is that the case in the full version?

No one uses the circle pad to jump. There's a jump button. In fact most people turn off tap jump.

Honestly the problem for me isn't Little Mac himself, it's how people play him. Nothing but spam and over-the-top aggressive edge-guarding. Just bad luck for me I guess. I play super cheap against him 1vs1 now haha and usually single him out in 4 player.

You'll have to record them with a video camera/phone or get a 3DS modded for capture.

Replays can probably be copied, but they aren't videos. If nothing else, updating to the latest version of the game shouldn't happen automatically, so you can always burn that bridge when it's time to cross it.

Ah, that's what I figured. I don't really have the money for a 3DS capture device and when the Wii U version comes out that'll be the main Smash game I play. Time to record with my phone I guess! lol
