Is this a bug? I have over 10 hours of match play and the challenge hasn't unlocked yet.

Is it just for "Smash mode"?

Weird. Been playing at my own pace without trying to get all the characters and I ended up unlocking the last three in Smash within a couple of round of one another. We really need the criteria for unlocking the character to be officially revealed because most of it seems pretty random apart from Wario and 100 Mii Smash.

I'm pretty sure I unlocked all of the characters just by playing in Smash mode. It didn't take very long either.

That item that reduces landing lag is just WTF. Just reduce landing lag. Nobody likes laggy games.

Tried my first Intensity 9.0 run with Kirby, I ended up with Int 6.5...

I still can't beat Master Core on Intensity 7.0, but the extra form is even harder. It's not hard to learn its pattern but some of its attacks are brutal. Even the beast form KOs me, despite having a really easy pattern.

So, almost over with the second challenges panel but the third one needs a lot of work. I've also cleared classic with half the characters but I almost haven't touched All Star at all.

The one thing I hate about this game is the minigames. Smash Run feels awful to me and very long. I prefer SSE over it. Target Blast is quite awful too, a shame it essentially replaced the regular target practice. Trophy Rush is okay I guess. If 2 minigames only were bad it would be fine but they have removed quite a few since Brawl, like the Event Challenges.

I really hope the Wii U version will deliver more. The 3DS version is definitely not bad, but it feels kind of underwhelming, content-wise compared to Brawl.

So will the Wii U version have different unlocks? Re unlocking pretty much all the same stuff the same way might kind of suck.

Sakurai showed the Gamer's stage for the Wii U before the point where he started revealing secrets in the official site (well, aside from Lucina, I guess). Wario and his stage were unlockables in the 3ds version. So, it seems like the Wii U version might have less or no unlockables.

Only characters are shared between versions. Trophies and stages are different, and it's known that Smash Run is 3ds only, although there isn't any information (or even pictures) of the Wii U's other modes besides the basic Smash battles.

Nah, Mario used to have comics that ran with Nintendo Power which showed this. Mario was a jerk to Wario causing him to hate Mario.

Don't understand why you can't friend random people in this game. Played an hour's worth of games with a Japanese player with whom I was pretty evenly matched. If Pokemon had it, why can't Smash?

So for the "Defeat 110 enemies in 3-Minute Smash" challenge is Little Mac the best for that? I figured he would be because of his speed and launching power, however there is the issue of the enemies staying at the higher platforms which will slow him down.

Donkey Kong and spamming his Down-B pound move worked for me.
