You can also unlock everyone via Smash battles. 120 will get everyone. Just one stock and kill yourself. I'm doing that now since I don't feel like grinding out classic dozens of times again.

Yoshi, Wario, Bowser Jr and Mario/Doctor Mario play the best for me out of the ones I tried.

Gonna try out Sonic. Loved him in Brawl.

The midnight launch was great. A lot of people stayed behind after getting the game to play with one another, did not lose one match in ffa or 1 on 1 against my friend. Actually just experienced my first loss since getting the game against some dude online not too long ago.

Trophy Rush. Pay 900 coins to make it 2:30. Watch for bombs, cannons, and that electric circle (it will have a ! warning on the top of the screen when it's coming). I've had good success with Peach and Toon Link. You can net over 20 trophies and even some custom parts if you do it right.

Yeah just use DK, down+B, roll occasionally to avoid bombs/cannons/electric orbs.

I don't know how it works online, but in offline Smash matches you get a character every 10 matches. That was confirmed weeks ago.

They still count as matches, but you have to fight a CPU for them to show up. If they did 50, I think just doing a match vs a CPU will have one character pop up, and then 4 more times for the other 4 characters.

Still haven't found anyone that I'm comfortable playing with. Tried Greninja, Mii Brawler, Link, Megaman, Mario, Pikachu. The only one that I found remotely fun to play with was Fox.

Brawl wasn't limited to just one type of controller, though. 3DS can only use the 3DS' controls unless you mod it. This is really bad tbh.

Zero Suit Samus seems crazy strong. Game is fun, but after playing this and demo I can't help but be a tiny bit disappointed how the game hasn't evolved much from Brawl considering how substantial the leap was each game from 64>Melee>Brawl.
