Would that work? I'm assuming they didn't get the physical Mario Kart 8 game in the end though right?

I mainly wanted it physically cause of the shirt preorder, but I was/still am on the fence about getting it digitally, I've got the space for it now.
 
I knew I was going to go right back to good ole' "Sammy". <3

Still loving Lucina, in fact more so than I expected, but Samus and Ness... My long time mains... Feels like ages since I really played them, and they feel pretty good.

Have a strong gut feeling I'm going to remain a Samus main after all, with Lucina and Ness as alts. ROB for funsies because I fucking love ROB.

Will hop on that "For Gloreh" tomorrow after work. Gotta sleep now so I can actually make it to work, lol.
 
I managed to play this for about 30 mins last night and so far I'm really impressed. Little Mac seems a lot of fun to play with. I like the way he is animated, you get a real feel of weight behind those flying punches.

I wasn't going to bother with the 3DS version but the demo convinced me. Mainly because I can leave it on all the time in the cradle, open it up and jump straight into a battle. This suits me more then waiting for the wii u to boot up every time I want a game.
 
I can't believe how good ZSS is. Not just compared to her flabby n sick self in Brawl but she seems to be one of the best characters overall. Sheik is pretty cool too, the removal of transformations has been really kind to these two.

So far I'm feeling Bowser, he hits hard and has an awesome grab.
I'm beginning to win a lot in 4 man Smash Glory, though it's still way harder 1v1 for me.

Is there any resources to get up to speed on the metagame and general things to know for 1v1 duels?

They did also get the physical copies. In that case it was a matter of the MK8 was not sent out until Friday so as a result nobody had it on Friday. They gave out the eShop codes late that day.

I'm not sure if Yodel trying on Thursday and not be arsed to try again until Monday is really the same as they though but it is more an example that they have gone the extra mile before.

I am going to figure out R.O.B. and Wario tomorrow. Peace!
Edit: R.O.B. is most likely 200 trophies and Wario Beat 7.0 3 times.
 
Sakurai wasn't joking when he said Mac had no air game. He feels like a totally different character. I was destroying my friend on the stage but I barely chased off of it and couldn't make it back.

I would not recommend their SSB melee basics video. Why?? I would say that its extremely long with too little actual content. And about their other SSB melee video...

Theres a lot of knowledge there, thanks to Scar only. But its also difficult to recoment that video because sound and video dont work together most of the time.

I beat Classic 16 times and then once more on 6.0 with customizations on for Jigglypuff. The 18th time + 200 trophies gave me ROB (also on 6.0).

Wario just was... there. 3 times on 7.0 could be right.
