That's what is probably happening to a lot of people here. It does seem like Amazon has gotten worse with release-day delivery lately.

It tends to be games Nintendo published games for me. I got TFF:CC on release date.
Also dang cat got me up early. Planned to sleep in on b-day.

At least for games I ordered in advance, I've had Amazon deliver them to me on release day many times; so many times, in fact, that when it doesn't happen, it's an unwelcome surprise. That's what is probably happening to a lot of people here. It does seem like Amazon has gotten worse with release-day delivery lately.

But it's never guaranteed.

If it's a game you'll be upset about not getting day 1 you should always go to the store yourself.

Got it already, thanks to being in germany, but i get a prompt that there is an Update available. When i go to the eshop i get just the black "An error has occured. (and so on)" and have to shut down the 3DS.

Any solutions?

Bunch of friends of mine are gonna take the day off from school/work tomorrow and go to bestbuy first thing when it opens and play all day. Called them and it doesn't seem like they are doing a midnight launch, even though they did Smash-Fest which is lame. But I can't wait to just play all day, the hype is so very real right now.

It says to allow til 9pm for it to be delivered, the last time a delivery said that for me it came at 5pm (from Amazon), which should be alright since I'm in uni til then anyway so I shouldn't have any problems picking it up.

Still don't see why it would go further away from where I live if the main parcel centre is based in Manchester.

So got mine today and enjoying it quite a lot. Gotta say though, that classic mode with intensity above 8 or so with the dual hands into weird-black-thing shenanigans is kicking my ass badly. Everything else is ez until that fight. So far I have a real hard time calling the animations correctly and there's so littel time to dish out damage :>

By the way, I haven't kept up with this title, how is the smash community overall liking this game? I heard s.th. along the line of it being a nice step between Melee and Brawl, however, Melee still having superior gameplay in the end?

It's only my opinion, but this game is miles better than Brawl and sorta kinda on the same level as Melee.
People saying Melee is still better and stuff are probably those kind of people who prefer Marvel vs. Capcom 2 over Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 because of how horribly broken and unbalanced MvC2 is.

That one was yesterday but today have Mario and co jumping into 3DS from e3 2013 trailer.

Today's GIF represented that characters are ready to ducking it out in 24 hours on 3DS. Also it really show that we started our year adventure with first trailer of Smash. It's quite fun year for all of us. I hope.

In the 3DS version, they can be accessed randomly through Smash Run, therefore limiting them to local only. They should be available with less restrictions in the Wii U version unless something goes horribly wrong.
