Which stops one scenario (I want to use your Wii U to unlock characters on my 3DS but don't want to log in with my NNID in case I get a Wii U down the line), but doesn't prevent ten people with Wii U's from buying one copy of the game.

If the game hadn't been released in japan long before the rest of the world I would probably be a bit more hype. With all the info and streams that has been going on for weeks now it kind of makes the game a bit less interesting.
I did have a blast with the demo though so the game should be worth it (3DS version). Wii-U version is a must buy!

Needless? Somebody hasn't looked into them enough, some of them are gamechangers (like Samus').

My favorites are FRLG, Emerald, and BW. Only one of those is a third version.
Plus Z would need major, major changes to salvage X and Y's problems.

Ruby/Sapphire were incredibly bare at their release and your list includes Emerald, so I don't get how you automatically assume Z won't fix the problems you had with X and Y.

Some characters have guaranteed follow ups after releasing Wario from a grab. Lil Mac can easily hit Wario with a KO punch just from a grab for example.

Make the DLC tied to a specific NNID?

I'm assuming he means linking the two to unlock things. Unless the specific disc/cart is tied to the NNID you could just have the 3DS game, borrow the Wii U game, and unlock whatever extras.

Hyrule Warriors came and ruined everything, and got me all hype on Zelda again, so I turned back on Wind Waker HD and I'm now to the wonderful Triforce hunt.

I really want to finally play ALBW, so should I just shut off WW for now and dig into that? I'm free the next few days so I've got time. Also, will my experience be better if I finish LTTP first which I regrettably never have and lost my data? Arg it's so hard to choose because I know when Smash comes out all my attention will go to it. I'd really like to really dig into Earthbound too.

ALBW is a masterpiece. I never finished ALTTP either, and still enjoyed ALBW so much. If you've already finished WW before, then start ALBW, as soon as possible. It has no filler at all, unlike WW.

Every Hamburg store. If they tell you that they wont sell it to you, tell them that already 3 copys got sold.

12 hours early? If you're not getting retail at least a day early you are doing it wrong.

I always get games 2-3 days earlier... When in need just ask stores where clueless people work (like Toys'R'Us for example). There is always this one store which sells it earlier and I never had problems getting games earlier.

Yep, some local stores are already selling it... for 45€. I'm desperate for it, but I'm not paying almost 10€ for playing it 1-2 days before.

You should work on your charm. Charm works everytime or rather your speech. If nothing works just try to get angry (well if you talk to a guy which can take it). That always works. Also lie your way to victory with "This store and this one already sell this game... well then I will buy it there. Not my problem" <-- This is the golden way to the earlier games.
