(ZSS' Down B infinite on Robin only works on Robin and requires a custom move)
I would, but the Wii U version isn't out yet.
Edit: I realized that could be construed as a bit inflammatory. I just don't feel any strong pull to get the 3DS version. I respect those that do want it though. I still wouldn't mind facing you in the Wii U version.
that seems decent. Also are those figurines things coming out with the 3DS version or wii u version?
If CoD can overtake Halo after years of dominance (Halo CE frikkin created MLG), then Smash 4 can be huge in the tournament scene. The support from the fans has to be there and things will happen. As long as the views and interest is maintained, there will be competitive Smash 4 on a large scale.
Keep watching and supporting Smash 4 streams, Smash 4 events, etc. and it'll be fine.
I'm 99% sure the Wii U version. I only say 99% because I'm not really following the Amiibo news stuff as much as others lol.
Wow, just went through Leffen's twitter.
It's his opinion and all, but seriously, just because someone else enjoys the game and you don't doesn't mean their opinion is biased or their some "fanboy".
What a self absorbed ass he is. Let people enjoy the game they want. I swear sometimes melee fans can have some reasonable opinions, but sometimes do they really have to shout their opinion in your face?
The metagame hasn't even been explored in Smash 4 yet. Jesus.
I'll laugh if Smash 4 starts to take over competitive scenes and, just like history repeating itself, melee's gonna need some donations to keep it afloat. Mind you, I love smash in general and really enjoy melee as a different experience from the other titles but damn, it's like if you enjoy Smash 4...you're a supposed fanboy...

Leffen is a known asshole, don't assume everyone is like him.

That's part of my point, MLG is small time compared to the millions of people who will be playing Smash 4 at events around the world. It's already more competitively viable than Brawl was, so now that we'll have a functional online system (still shocked at how people play Brawl online till this day lol.. it's default 6 frames on a godlike connection, just imagine on a poor connection (6 frames is a lot of input delay for those who don't know)) we're going to see the potential for competitive Smash fully realized, or at least more than we've seen before.MLG ain't shit though......also Halo over-relied on them
not to mention lolHalo4
Yeah, check the source.
Edited: Beaten.
The problem people seem to be voicing the most about Smash 4 isn't character balance (in fact most characters so far seem to all show surprising prowess with no major disadvantages, which in a way bodes well for tournament variety). It's the game apparently not being an interesting spectator sport.
Which I don't really agree with personally, even if I thought the former was a huge issue with Melee and that both those flaws were heavily prevalent in Brawl. Personally I think SSB4 is a lot of fun to watch and I can't wait to see the metagame develop.
Yeah, didn't notice that. I was just trying to find it and that was the site I remember viewing the info from so I decided to search through there to find it

When can I play as a folder in Smash
"In fact, we recreated all characters almost from scratch"- Sakurai 2014, about Smash 4.
This is a complete lie, and that shit is NOT okay
lol didn't some of you guys on here whoop leffen on some online matches?
no wonder he's so mad. someone give this kid some ice cream.

My apologies, I meant to say "some" smash fans. This goes both ways for Smash 4 or Brawl fans that will openly tear apart melee fans.
He uses Diddy, how did he not notice? lollol didn't some of you guys on here whoop leffen on some online matches?

Everytime I try to recreate this in the demo it just flips Villager the other way around. Does it just come down to having exact timing or is there something specific I'm missing here?

It's not even a lie really. They re-used a lot of animations, but characters really did get rebalanced a lot. They really did a good job making every veteran feel fresh again.
I was adding to it with the implication that with all the support it will get and already having a base much better than Brawl's, combined with online and the popularity of streams, that Smash 4 will be alright on all fronts, competitive viability and as a spectator.I don't think this is the point of the argument that's currently happening is it?
You have to make sure that the cape only hits the bowling ball. It's really a matter of spacing.Everytime I try to recreate this in the demo it just flips Villager the other way around. Does it just come down to having exact timing or is there something specific I'm missing here?

I think your average person would assume that quote meant they just re-balanced characters and tweaked some moves/animations so they felt 'different' to their Brawl incarnations, rather than thinking there was going to be nothing remotely ported over and everything was made from square one in Smash 4.It's not even a lie really. Level 9 Villagers are honestly pretty dumb; they constantly just seem to Lloid Rocket at the top of teh stage and drop down in a fall state which leaves them wide open for anything really. Really only have problems facing Pikachu and weirdly enough Mega Man.Speaking of, one of my favorite things to do against a Lv.9 AI Villager in the demo is cape them when they try to recover high with Lloid Rocket, which they do often lol.
