On the contrary, I'm constantly thinking about Shulk and I'm excited to play as him. I keep forgetting that Palutena, Wii Fit Trainer, and Duck Hunt are in the game. Duck Hunt because it's still so surreal that he's in at all, and the former two because I've seen so little gameplay of them.

I'm going to get the game digitally when it's out on NA. When exactly do Nintendo retail games drop on the day of release? I'm thinking of adding the exact funds to my account so I can download it as fast as possible before the servers get flooded.
Ironically, ROB is the one I always forget. I often even forget he's in Brawl.

These two are the ones I overlook most often. During the ESRB leaks, I often forgot ROB was confirmed.
Midnight EST. Also, there is no "before" the servers get flooded. They are flooded as soon as the game is posted on the eshop, then as time goes on it gets better.
So, I guess I could talk about my thoughts on Little Mac's match ups a little bit.
I think Little Mac has a lot of trouble against the following:
ZSS: She's got range and is easily the best character at spacing Mac out, as the stun on her gun often stops Mac's super armor. She can also combo for long enough to outlast his KO punch, she's got great grab range which is troublesome for Mac, and she's pretty good in the air.
Wario: The bike will often override Mac's armor and he's also great in the air. The bite is also a very effective move against Mac.
Yoshi: Yoshi's move that lets him lay little Mac as an egg will oftentimes kill him if used on the edge due to his terrible recovery. Also, Yoshi has projectiles that travel in an arc, meaning Mac can not always run right under them like he does other proectiles. But, he also has super armor on enough moves that it can be troublesome for Little Mac.
Dedede: I can't put my finger quiet on why he gives Mac trouble, but he just does. Maybe it's the range? He can also blow Mac off the side and then gimp him. It's probably the range and the gimping abilities.
Other Little Macs: Little Mac dittos are honestly really hard for Mac, and can also feel like cheap contests consisting of who rolls better, counters first, or is lucky enough to hit with their KO punch first. However, they're completely even matches, but they're hard to learn because you can't exploit some of Little Mac's cheaper tactics like you can when going against a different character.

Nope. Super hyped to play as him and dish out some Monado-based wreckage. I don't forget about any of the characters, even the ones I don't really care that much about
like Dark Pit, Lucina and Dr. Mario
disagree, if you have the money on there already and refresh like a crazy person you'll be able to get it early and avoid some of the slowness, which will take an hour or so to really die down.

Loving the Wario play! Really can't wait to see how his metagame develops in this game. His bike especially looks like it has a lot of potential here.

I might be able to get the game on Wednesday if my usual place is able to get it without issues, which they most likely will since as theyve never had issues getting nintendo games early

I did it for Smash 3DS, Pokemon X and Wind Waker the second they were released and all three were slow from my experience -_-
The write-up is only 4 hours old.
It also mentions the Top 8 players in it as well as the Top 6 characters placed instead of only Top 4.

I have watched most of them, and two moves really caught my eye as game changers for the characters they belong to.
1) Charizard's custom 3 fire breath:

Look at that area and disruption! This looks like one of the best projectiles in the game, and it has huge range.

Woah, that range is huge. An approach tool, an escape tool, and a reversal probably? Plus it helps massively with his horizontal recovery. I can see this being an amazing tool for Bowser. Folks are already talking about how he gets trashed DHD, but this move seems like it would help Bowser a lot in that matchup. If only Bowser got Charizard's custom 3 fire breath instead of his crappy custom 3...

Pokémon X was the worst so far but my advice worked out pretty well for my friend. I was dumb and didn't have enough money on my account so I ended up getting it about 30 minutes later with a slower overall download. Mario Kart 8 went smooth as silk.

Peach's sleep inducing counter is the one I'm most excited to try out since it gives a free ko at a high enough percent.
Never I'm so hyped to play as Shulk the wait is killing me and i have three days of classes this week. I'm lucky enough to have friday off but still, gotta wait for that amazon shipping :'(

That looks good! Why would the default counter be preferable?
I downloaded the demo, but I am having the hardest time adjusting to the controls. I guess I'm just too used to the GCN controller. Also, the weight of the 3DSXL makes my hands/arms tired after a few battles. I am now thinking that I will skip the 3DS version and just go for the Wii U one.

I really hated the controls for the first... hour or so, then I kinda just dealt with it.
It's far from a GCN controller, but it gets the job done better than I expected.

Yeah, but it could have been 7 if they had actually watched the gain VS aMSa match. I think it's pretty hard to forget that gain beat aMSa with Little Mac, ya know?

The stages are definitely different between the two, although there could be other differences as well. We don't know much about the Wii U version.
Same roster and mechanics, different stages, different modes (Smash Run). Only two music tracks per stage. Assist Trophies and Pokeballs only spawn one at a time. You can't adjust the item spawn rate.
