hey have any of you guys mentioned how the movie will be a clusterfuck yet? or how they need their own movie to introduce these heroes that the whole world knows? no?
Probably just a cameo like Cyborg, WB securing all these actors because JL movie is going to be released a year after BvS.
Could have been drax, but chose this? Ha!
I've been saying this for the longest, but no one listens. People are convinced this movie is going to be a total clusterfuck and nothing will deter them from that.
As far as we know, it's a direct sequel to a film that did nothing to establish superheroes or superpowers as preexisting concepts, and established no in-universe basis for superpowers other than being a Kryptonian. It's not at all comparable to any of the films you mention, in which the existence of superheroes is a long-established part of that universe (Incredibles, Watchmen), or there's a one-size-fits-all explanation for superpowers (X-Men), or the characters are introduced more or less simultaneously and have a shared origin (TMNT).

What I find strange is the zero Flash talks regarding these movies, I wonder if WB is really waiting on how the CW's series is received, because I'm pretty sure that Flash is going to be in the JL movie.
Not really feeling Momoa, he needs blonde hair, it is kind of integral to this background: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Curse_of_Kordax

honestly this feels like they're trying too hard to make Aquaman "badass", it would be better if they didn't acknowledge how he's perceived by fans and just let him do this thing.
The first Iron Man also made no mention of other heroes or superpowers existing in its world, and yet here we are. Retcons gonna retcon.
...and?
So?
Again - you're acting like the audience is going to be befuddled and confused beyond all recognition when a movie called "Batman v Superman" has other superheroes making cameos in it.
I don't see why that would be the case at all. It's not like people are going to go "Man, the Batman v Superman stuff, I could wrap my head around. And then they were like "Wonder Woman is here too" and I was like WHAT THE FUCK HOLD THE PHONE WONDER WOMAN WHAAAAAAA HOW DO I PROCESS THIS SHIT OH FUCK CYBORG? A CYBORG? AND A WONDER WOMAN???"
Audiences have had 75 years to get used to the idea of superheroes existing. I don't think the lifting to get that across onscreen is going to be as heavy as people seem to think it needs to be. "Establishing" the rules of any superhero movie never needs to take more than a minute or two, tops. It CAN take longer, and sometimes you can do really cool things with all that extra time. But Superman v. Batman doesn't need a ton of legwork to explain that a Wonder Woman could exist. Decades of popular culture kinda do a lot of that heavy lifting FOR you.
My concern at this point is not with introducing multiple superheroes in one film, not in itself; my concern is that WB may be attempting to emulate the origin/backstory-focused Marvel model in a much more compressed time frame, resulting in sloppy storytelling and a square-peg-in-round-hole approach to adapting certain characters.

I don't know why but I always pictured Charlie Hunnam as Aquaman for some reason.
Plenty of versions of Aquaman. From buff badass to a bit of a goof.Aquaman is going to dwarf everyone superman in size and so will batman.
Okay, but I don't understand how you could think they're doing that when the introduction of Batman in this movie has no origin/backstory to speak of. Batman is being taken as fact, essentially. You just roll with him. If that's a tack they're willing to take with him, I don't see why every other character will need a poorly managed origin/backstory.
I would think this is a form follows function thing - you decide to take this particular tack BECAUSE you don't care about emulating Marvel Studio's gameplan, not because you wanna shoehorn it in where it doesn't fit.

After a while you just learn to ignore them.I'm starting to think people calling this movie "messy" are just haters that have nothing else to go on.
They're making a Justice League movie guys, innocent until proven guilty. C'mon, do you guys seriously have no hope for anything anymore?
Thats exactly what i think WB is going to do. The reception of the Flash show will determinate if the Flash/Arrow universe will join the DCCU
The whole point of New 52 Aquaman was to reference how he is viewed in real life.
well then I don't like it, too try hard for me
To be fair, it drops that agenda rather quickly and became very well written without using that as a crux.well then I don't like it, too try hard for me
He makes Jason Momoa looks like Daniel Day Lewis. No thanks.
Parker's writing Aquaman now. That guarantees it's going to be one of the better written DC Comics on the shelf.
It is. Even addresses the "lack of fun" thing people always take DC to task for (Ever wanted to see Aquaman go to his high school reunion? Parker's got you covered).
ya i sorta thought that too at first then realized he used to be this at one point.

So, we have Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman all confirmed right now right? Plus Green Lantern and Flash are rumored? I hope most of these just end up being seconds long cameos.
It's also going to be super weird after MoS that superheroes and super powered beings already exist on Earth when it wasn't implied at all in MoS.
Charlie Hedlund or whatever his name is makes Momoa look like a master thesp.
