Yea that was brilliant. Just brilliant. Hitting me like Twin Peaks did back when, but this is more intriguing in a way.

Finale is going to be something really special. That preview alone was enough to give chills. I love that Nic P. is reviving and bringing ingenuity to pulp/noir fiction. The guy is a brilliant writer.

So much this. Tonight especially I felt like I was grasping so hard to get even half of what was going on and still all I'm left knowing is that the Yellow King has infiltrated multiple cop shops in the counties where he stalks. And Lawnmower Guy is the big bad - I guess maybe he's not the head of the snake but even still I'm surprised I don't feel more cheated by the "cheap" reveal than I do. Well played final act Pt. 1 Pizzolatto.
