Why the fuck are they still playing Time and Eric show. That shit isn't funny and it's hella lame. I know there is some (maybe more than some) people that agree with me.
 
That show sucks and they did not pick up Korgoth of Barbaria, for which I will hate them forever. That Moleman show sucked ass as well. In fact, a lot of their shows are terrible.

But in all seriousness, they still play it because it's popular, people like the show, and this is a dumb thread.
 
Well when your production costs are extremely low I suppose it doesn't take much of an audience to make crap profitable

It's because it's cheap and people watch it because nothing else is on Sunday nights. It's horrible, IMO. Adult Swim has been making pretty odd scheduling decisions lately though, wtf at moving Code Geass to 5 AM.

God I hated both shows, but I would have to go with Tom. (Shudder) But how can anyone defend that show. The guy dry humps a girls back with champagne in his hands. Yeah sounds funny on paper, sucks in real life. There skits, for lack of a better word suck! Actually AS is really horrible now! The majority of the current anime is horrid! And amen to the person who mentioned Korgath. Even though it wasn't the smartest show, it was funny. Screw AS!

Tom was boring beyond belief, tim and eric is not funny in the slightest and I'm the guy who says "humor is subjective". But I can't understand anyone enjoying this show.

TAEASGJ is the 2nd best show on Adult Swim right now, and only because its so damn short. If it was longer and kept up the pacing and the funny, it would be the best.

I don't know what it is, but every joke in that show falls flat. I think the concept is kinda funny, but it doesn't work in execution. Maybe I'm getting sick of the AS "brand" of humor.
 
IMO adult swim went really downhill since it became really successful in 2004 or so. after that period it became too liberal in greenlighting shows. and then a slew of wacky stoner shows congested the line-up, few if any funnier than aqua teen. oh well.

I think the problem is that it's just poorly written and not funny. Just like a lot of the stuff on Adult Swim right now. They're REALLY loosened their standards, it feels like, because that and shit like Lucy the Daughter of the Devil is just fucking atrocious.

I mean, hell, they tried to greenlight a show based on Charlie the Unicorn. CHARLIE THE FUCKING UNICORN, THE MOST UNFUNNY FLASH MOVIE EVER CREATED!!

Tim and Eric is kinda like modern art. You could take a crap on the floor and people would flock around talking about how awesome it is. But that doesn't mean that crap is well made or funny/artistic.
