Some cool new games announced for sure yeah. My highlights have been the new Stellar Blade and the DLC expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2.

The Ocarina of Time remake could be really cool too, but they've barely show anything lol.

A lot of games probably put a tentative date to avoid GTA 6 but it's so packed now around the nuclear blast that probably a lot of studios will rethink their release.

Yes, you'd have to be insanely jaded to not admit that this season brought a ton of really good announcements for basically all kinds of tastes in games (well maybe with the exception of the racing genre). Now if only the hardware "crisis" could fade as well...

As much as I get the remake fatigue, those 1st and 2nd gen 3d titles (even into the PS360 gen) with great gameplay but graphics that maybe haven't aged so well really deserve the uplift.

I'm a simple man, I have simple interests. Halo, Gears, God of War, Rayman, Cuphead, Zelda, Pokopia dlc…

all four shows have had at least one or two bangers I'm stupidly excited for.

It's most certainly not terrible, however I won't go as far as if all has been restored. Still a little too many remakes/remasters.

But overall I'm still quite positive. Plenty of good games to be found in the last showcases.

I've been thinking that too lots of potentially great stuff being shown in the last few shows. For me Virtua Fighter especially since they've been saying it's one of their most ambitious projects ever and I finally got to see a decent amount of it.

If you look at the launch lineup for the rest of the year and there's legitimately nothing you want to play, I don't want to be the one to tell you this but you hate video games now and you should find a new hobby because there's nothing for you here and there won't be ever again. This has definitely been the best batch of summer showcases since the death of E3. Even the weaker ones had at least a few cool announcements, and you also had shit like the Godzilla remaster dropping at random between shows. Just an unbroken string of cool news. Too bad it's probably over now.

Still high off Muramasa getting remastered, and coming to PC. Never thought I'd see the day for Vanillaware.

Dragon's Dogma 2 getting an expansion also great news.

there are some good games but i feel like there is nothing coming that will be a masterpiece , for some people GTA 6 will be but other than a realistic/interactive world i wouldnt expect much

The last time i was really impressed with a game was in 2015 with The Witcher 3 , nothing came close since then , maybe Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader
