In Thunder Tier One, set in the early nineties, players must combine leadership and tactical skills to lead an elite special ops team. The game features different single and multiplayer modes, including a campaign mode where players are charged with stopping a terrorist network operating in the fictional Eastern European country Salobia.

Thunder Tier One will be hosting a Gameplay Preview Bravo from July 29 to August 1. Experience the new PvE and PvP modes, new maps, UI improvements, and more.

Check out the launch trailer for the top-down tactical shooter game, Thunder Tier One, available now on PC.

In Thunder Tier One, fans will lead an elite special operations team battling to stop a dangerous network of terrorist insurgents in the fictional Eastern European country of Salobia. The game features a nine mission story-driven campaign that can be played in 4-player co-op, online PVP or solo with AI teammates. The game also features four different modes: Exfil, Advance & Secure, Domination, and Deathmatch.

Exfil is a 4v4 mode where the attacking team is tasked with exfiltrating a package within a time limit while the defending team must prevent them from doing so using any means possible. In Advance & Secure - which is also a 4v4 mode - teams go head-to-head to fight for a number of sectors and claim victory. Domination is a PVE experience where up to four players race against the clock to take control of a series of checkpoints, disarm explosives, and defend against counter-attacks. Finally, Deathmatch is the classic free-for-all with up to eight participants.

Bought this game yesterday, it is awesome. Like, surprisingly solid.

The gameplay is neat, the movement and AI instructions are extremely intuitive and clever, the AI is solid and especially teammate AI is very competent, the maps are cool. The customization options are kinda insane and the assortment of weaponry is really great.

I am a total sucker for customization and the only downside is that apparently you unlock gear as you progress but you can't see anywhere what you'll unlock, or when.

Don't sleep on this if you're a fan of tactical shooters!

Thunder Tier One is going to be overlooked due to it being an isometric view shooter, but holy hell is it fun! I STRONGLY urge you to try it out!
