This could be an all-timer year for Video Games!

For some reason I thought Scott Pilgrim EX was a remaster of the old game I played on 360. I'm not really a big beat em up fan but I'll have to give that a look too, thanks op

Here come the old guys again, reminding everyone how good they had it. It's such a predictable and boring conversation.

If there are games from those years that we mentioned that you still haven't played and can still experience for the 1st time, plus the bonus of still being young...... Mi rey... you're definitely the lucky guy in this joint.

It's been a great year but not an all-timer IMO. That's reserved for 1998, 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2017 IMO. GTA VI, Ocarina of Time Remake, and others could certainly change that though

I've loved Pragmata, 007 First Light, and RE Requiem so far. I'd say 2023 was the best year we've had in recent times (Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur's Gate 3, Silent Hill 2, Dead Space, Diablo IV, Alan Wake II, Super Mario Wonder)

Also this year already released we have Mina the Hollower and Slay the Spire 2. No rest for the Wicked 1.0 coming in October. THis year could definitely be the best since 2020. 2023 was pretty good, I thought last 2 years were pretty lackluster.

1998 is probably the GOAT. On PC alone you have Half Life, Starcraft, and Baldurs Gate 1. That is like 3 of the top 50 games of all time right there. Metal gear Solid, Grim Fandango, Resident Evil 2, and Zelda OOT are right behind the,

I am a huge Saturn fan, but neither Panzer Dragoon Saga nor Shining Force 3 meet the heights of the previously mentioned games. They are still 9/10 games and some of the best within their own franchises. Klonoa and Thief and Tekken 3 and Colony Wars are all fantastic.

We've already had Crimson Desert, 007 Firstlight, Forza Horizon 6, Mario Tennis Aces, Resi Evil Requiem, Pragmata, we've still got GTA6, MW4, Wolverine to come plus loads of unnanounced stuff, I haven't had this many games wishlisted for day 1 this entire gen, that's without annual sports releases like WWE/NBA2K/Madden/FC/NHL etc, and then things like the Rayman Legends remake, Toy Story collection, Scott Pilgrim EX, the PS5 Pro update for Cyberpunk, it's a crazy crazy year!

Not an all-timer year, but a decent one.

Capcom seems like they might have a banner year though with RE: Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Stories 3, especially if Onimusha delivers.

Mostly been backlog for me outside Forza Horizon 6, but I'll get around to Crimson Desert, 007 First Light, Pragmata, Mouse P.I. For Hire, etc. Onimusha, Witchbrook, Denshattack, Ace Combat 8, Wanderburg and Dreadmoor I'm also anticipating.

Isn't this linked to social unrest and economic issues almost like clock work kinda like simulation theory. Release all the good games for a generation in the space of a year or 2 as form of distraction while the elites position them self's to pick up as much of the fractional assets as they can.
