Hi Everyone!

I'm 35 years old, recently moved from Italy to Malta.
Long time PlayStation lover, but not a fanboy. During my life I also owned Xboxes, Nintendo and Sega consoles

Usually I'm not a heavy contributor, but let's see if here something changes

Hi every!

Long time GAF and ERA lurker here, started reading around console launch in 2013, enjoyed it tons so stayed for awesome gaming threads, , then followed to ERA w/o making account there(knew i would get banned for like 1k different reasons but i loved gaming leaks + kinda fellt i wanna know opinion of ppl outside of my usual group), recent treatmeant of cp2077, cdpr and overall genuine ppl who wants to just have fun was last straw to not lurk there anymore(altho it was just last straw, with tons of other reasons before including awful offtopic threads and even some really weird threads in gaming section, including for example thread about how capitalism is bad for videogames), i realised how awful its there and definitely didnt want to give them clicks/add revenue anymore, and i never use addblocks, out of principle), since it all fellt more and more like soviet gulag/german death camp instead of an internet forum.

Cant promise i will post a ton but i like to lurk in my spare time so just letting u know good thing u guys are here so ppl can enjoy gaming talk and speak their minds freely.

Morning GAF.

I've been lurking this place for at least 10 years and in that time read some of the 'classic' threads over that time including but not limited to(just off the top of my head) the dude who made a thread about being in the same room as his sister(?) watching porn(?) and somebody doing a line drawing of the situation and the thread with the guy whose girlfriend went missing on the way home and detectiveGAF finding out he was bullshitting.

Anyway, I moved over to era to lurk during the exodus to get my gaming news and to be honest enjoyed the place and was happy to go there.

However the last 6 months or so I've started to get sick and tired of users and their victim complexes they have for everything, it has become so tiring. The final straw for me was the whole Cyberpunk thing and people getting banned left, right and centre for wanting to discuss the game.

Because of that I no longer go there and wanted to show support for GAF.
I may not post all the time but I am definitely here browsing multiple times a day.

Happy Cyberpunk day! Hope everyone is as excited as I am. Just istalling now so thought I would use the time to introduce myself here.

I mostly play looters shooter type games with the wife but will play any genre thats fun and just had a real blast with Just Cause 4.

Had a great time with PS4 last gen coming from the 360 but the series x spec and gamepass was enough to bring be back to xbox for this gen.

Looking forward to being part of an open minded community and talk video games.

Irish lad here, was a long time poster here until the meltdown, when I quit due to the lack of activity. Got my gaming news from Eurogamer and Reddit ever since then and gave up posting, but wanted the chance to have my say again, from time to time at least.

Play mostly on Playstation and Switch, but looking to pick up an XSX and catch up on the Xbox games I've missed.

I have been lurking on resetera too but decided to left after all the bad faith arguments around cyberpunk.

I mostly play on PC and some ps5 exclusives.

I play all consoles and I'm mostly into RPGs, action adventure, and arcade style games. Demon's Souls and it's kin are my favorite games atm. Currently playing Dragon Quest V, and replaying Bloodborne.

Though forum drama usually ain't my thing, the bullshit over there is just too much these days, even for someone like me who doesn't post all that often. After lurking here for a few days I gotta say it'll be nice to no longer feel like I'm walking on egg shells when I do post. They'll probably ban me once they see this, but who gives a fuck at this point lol.

I'm The Time Of Mario, though you can call me TTOM.

I'm a Mario Fan and a Simpsons fan (as you can see by my Username and AV), though I enjoy other things and games as well.

So, how did I get here? Well, I've been lurking a lot of gaming forums recently. Well, I'm not joining ResetEra anytime soon (for multiple reasons), and the rest, I'm not bothered. Out of these, I concluded that this was the best one to go on right now, mainly because it seems more inviting than the rest.

I hope that I can try to be active around here, and be a good member.
