ebay that damn BR Stinkles, I have $500 here waiting for you.
Oh... haha thanks. NM then.Cocopjojo said:Art Vandelay is Foundry.
I hope it is something similar to Headlong. That map was AMAZING!! Perfect BTB map for objective games and even slayer.GhaleonEB said:Which leaves OK Corral. The description makes it sound a LOT like Headlong.
medium-to-large, asymmetrical map
but the more players there are, the more they tend to sprawl into the outer reaches of the maps, complete with collapsed buildings, wreckage-strewn structures and lots of rebar
Sniping spots are numerous
What it is about is mastering routes from one end to the other, and knowing high from low
Asymmetrical, just large enough for vehicles, collapsed buildings, important to know the high-to-low routes, lots of sniper positions. Sounds like Headlong to me.
your "two BR headshots" comment leads me to believe you still have some confusion about the combat engine. BR shots do the same amount of damage regardless of location unless your target's shields are down. also, the AR has a higher learning curve than you think. it's entirely possible to down someone with a single clip. practice firing in repeated bursts, versus holding the trigger down.Deputy Moonman said:stuff

For now, I'd be satisfied just knowing whether or not it was a mistake - as in, it has no other purpose beyond being a Blind skull. I wouldn't expect Stinkles to come out and tell us what it does.Diablohead said:I've always seen it as two in the game by mistake but it would be nice to know it's true reason.
"Spring" was the last update. Considering the maps are now content complete and just need to go through the (considerable) test cycle before implementation, I'm guessing March.rance said:So when's the next DLC coming out? I suddenly want to play more Halo and wouldn't mind some new stuff soon.

You're just trying to make me like the last level. It might work!Cocopjojo said:Me neither. There are four, neatly lined up on Legendary. It's so awesome.

I think there are three. They're somewhere on the left right before you go out onto the breaking platforms. And you know about the Mongoose on the left where you would normally take a right, right as you get on the Warthog.GhaleonEB said:You're just trying to make me like the last level. It might work!
I gotta find that chopper.
WOAH!!! I never noticed how beautiful that level was! Those murals on the side are amazing.Cocopjojo said:Me neither. There are four, neatly lined up on Legendary. It's so awesome.

From the beginning, I think, yes.snack said:So, do I have to go through the whole level on Legendary to get the Ghosts?
Darunia said:ok this isn't entirely ontopic, but it relates to Halo somewhat so anyway... how do you avid Halo players feel about a game like CoD4? Because I've just started it and after exclusively playing Halo for the last months it feels like I'm thrown back a decade combat wise. I don't know how I can explain the reasons, but I'm just not having fun at all in the game so far. Every major encounter just feels like some target range where you have to find the guys in the window, who immediately get replaced once you kill them. The encounters in houses always play out the same: party is in a house, you shoot from a distance, go closer, flush out, continue. Rinse, repeat. The game itself feels like a trainride, but not in good way, like HL. Your movement is limited and if you don't trigger certain events, enemies keep coming. I've only played CoD1 and honestly, it feels like I'm playing the exact same game .
Anyone share my sentiments here or do I just not get it?
Yeah I've done the last level in the mongoose. It was pretty fun. It took me a while to realize that there is a small tunnel that you take instead of the main jump at one point.NJ x Falkor said:It has a Mongoose and a Chopper too
A tunnel? Where?Deputy Moonman said:Yeah I've done the last level in the mongoose. It was pretty fun. It took me a while to realize that there is a small tunnel that you take instead of the main jump at one point.
Sorry. I shouldn't have called it a tunnel. The mongoose can't make the first big jump. You have to take a path underneath the jump to continue. It's not really a tunnel. I just brought it up because I repeatedly tried to make the big jump and kept falling to my death the first time trying to get through the end. And I was beginning to think that bungie put the mongoose in the last level as a joke to make people think they could make it. Then I finally started using my brain and discovered there is a separate path you can take. That is all I was talking about.Cocopjojo said:A tunnel? Where?
I'm sure i've gone the normal route on the mongoose, was it just a bad run up or luck?Deputy Moonman said:Sorry. I shouldn't have called it a tunnel. The mongoose can't make the first big jump. I'm really confused now. Would going through on a different difficulty change anything? I vividly remember not being able to take the main jump. The only other possibility is that, maybe, I took too long and some of the paneling fell; therefore, making it impossible. I have no clue. Can anyone else chime in on this?Diablohead said:I'm sure i've gone the normal route on the mongoose, was it just a bad run up or luck?

You are not. I was in the same situation when I was younger and couldn't afford certain games/consoles.Botolf said:So this is me in relation to Halo 3.
A friend was planning on going to a midnight release on the 24th of September, invited me, and I agreed, seeing as it sounded like a fun thing to do. I picked up a copy (Collector's Edition) while I was there, got a few goodies for being with the first crowd inside the store, then left, played into the wee hours of the morning, etc, etc.
Returned home the next day, game in hand, but here's the catch. I didn't have an Xbox 360. I still don't have an Xbox 360. I'm planning on buying one, but do not yet have the funds to do so. So instead of enjoying the game, it just sits there, taunting me. I go over all the manuals and related thingamabobs repeatedly. Every once and a while, I retrieve the DVD from my CD wallet, look at it, stroke it a few times, then place it back.
Am I odd?
Damn, I've never bought a game for a console I don't own. It's definitely odd.Botolf said:So this is me in relation to Halo 3.
