What's wrong with Rat's Nest?

I love both that map and Standoff. Foundry is great because of the Forge aspects. Other than that, it's blah.

Next patch of DLC maps should be interesting.

There's nothing really wrong with it, I just don't do very good on the map, but some reason I own god on Standoff I'm able to get =+17 to +30 K/R on average. I mainly just get splattered on Rat's Nest. Standoff also just fells the most haloy(1) to me, the map has got me good with the BR something I stooped using with Halo3 at first. Even with a really great team I'm able the control the rockets at all times on my side. I mainly stay at the invisibility and its extremely improved my long distance combat!

I use it up in Campaign nearly every time I find it. It's a great Grunt/Jackal killer from close and mid-range. Not much use in multiplayer, but then I don't mind that there's not a perfect overlap in the weapon set, especially since there are so many other good weapons. Different kinds of gameplay between SP and MP.

It's pretty useful when dual-wielded with a plasma rifle, or in place of a BR if you can rely on team-shooting/grenades to drop shields. Also, if you're unlucky enough to spawn on shotgun side, I find it useful for rushing the sniper tower at the start of the game on Guardian.

It's the EOD Chest Plate and you have to complete Tsavo Highway on Legendary.

When I go into a custom game with two players (one on each team), two additional flag spawn/return points appear, just outside the bases. I don't know what I'm doing wrong that Forge requires those two to be in place. Does anyone know?

When this happened to me, I think it was something to do with setting my flag spawn/return points to asymmetric/symmetric instead of both. Maybe playing with that would help you?

I've killed people faster with the pistol then them shooting me with a BR, if you can land enough head shots.

Also the pistol/magnum is 1 hit kill if they have no shield and you land a headshot,or if you cannot find a BR and PP to go noob, the pistol works well also.

I've only seen Valhalla Covies in Team Control, so far. For example, this game was Land Grab on Valhalla Covies; check the weapon breakdown for evidence.

I really like this version of the map. Laser and 2x missile pod makes it too dangerous to stay in a vehicle on Valhalla, but laser and 2x rockets seems like a fair balance to me.
