Are the games lost? Will they appear sooner or later? Answers are all I need.

Check that thread (Last few pages people are posting some big claims.) and see if what they are saying holds any water, Luke.
That does sound pretty suspect, but hopefully they have NOT made a comeback in H3.

Every time High Ground pops up I'm all like 'okay now I'm gonna get it, this time...!', but it never works. When I head for an enemy they always jump up or I miss them by a hair's length. I was able to pull it off in Team Slayer though, so that's irony for ya.

B YY B - quicker melee
L Y R - Throw a nade and shoot faster
iianubisll said:B L Y B, and i think if u press R R then zoom, it's faster also like a dub shot
DIG1TAL said:Stick with the original from what ive tested BYYB(RBYYRB)<- if bumber jumper) is faster than just BB and BLYB takes extremely good timing if its timed wrong at all it is slower or same speed as BYYB thus winner is BYYB

two really fast beatdowns when you get the timing right*
Yea, I've tried this in customs and MM and it does work. A lot faster than any other combo I've tried.

Check your router or your modem.Bailey's Dad said:I've played MP Halo 3 on two different 360's now and both have a stuttery framerate. Is that normal? One of the 360's is brand new so it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.

MLG players can be real jerks sometimes. Play the game properly ffs....
They didn't. Have you tried it? It doesn't actually work, none of the "button glitches" do.FFChris said:How could Bungie miss a simple button glitch like BYYB?
LunaticPuma said:Aside from sword clashes, I've rarely needed 2 melees to kill someone. It's almost always shoot then melee to kill them. Being able to do a second melee faster is pretty much pointless since most battles end after the first melee.
Going through the posts I saw this one. You can watch the video up here but won't be able to manipulate it of course:+Aliken+ said:I really hate it that the movies saved cannot be seen on other devices, PC.
There is this one that sounds brilliant:
Bank Shot!
A single sniper bullet goes through a guy's head, bounces off the wall, and goes through another guy's head. Watch in slo-mo.

Truelize said:It works. I'm not a good Halo player at all but that does work. It takes an incredible amount of timing though. I can't see anyone being able to use it consistently in the heat of battle.

urk said:If there's a group of players that can master a lengthy button combo in order to pretend they're not cheating, it's the MLG crew.
MaX_PL said:cause bungie testers probably dont look for such things.
Karg said:Luckily a lot of actual MLG players (the ones compete in the tournaments) live in customs land for the most part. It'll just be fun when they curse like sailors when inconsistent button glitches don't work for them. Hopefully they stay that way.
urk said:Yeah, I think we've had this discussion before. The upper echelon isn't trolling Live. They're playing MLG types only with MLG squads. Most of my MLG hate is reserved for the bottom feeders who don't have the skills and make up for it with cheats and exploits. And yeah, the top guys do it too, but they have the skills to back it up and since MLG's official position seems to be that cheating is allowed (I'm sure they can't regulate it anyway), they have to learn the glitches if they want to compete.
But bringing it into Big Team Battle is just so fucking lame. You aren't hardcore, homey. You're very, very sad.
Wow...never have I seen a single quote filled with so much awesomeness.siamesedreamer said:FUCK MLGers

McBradders said:What's the button combo for that?
BladedExpert said:Its the same as the "go fist yourself" combo but with B instead of Y at the end. Hope that helped![]()

I believe I've also read where you get more points depending on how well you do in the actual game. Like, for example, a person who goes 5-10 on the winning team won't get as many points as a guy who goes 20-10. Likewise, if you pull a great performance on the losing team, you won't lose as many points as your teammates.urk said:Might be related to the stats difficulty Bungie is in the throws of.
It was messed up in the beta as well. Some people reported easy jumps through the ranks, others noted that they couldn't budge the number.
The way it should work is pretty simple. You get points for winning and lose them for, uh, losing. The amount is determined by your rank and the rank of your opponents. Beat a higher skilled player will net you more points then beating a lower skilled player. Likewise, losing to a lesser ranked player will drop you down more significantly then being bested by someone who outranks you.
The levels are not evenly space. You need more points to rank from level 2 to level 3 then you did to go from 1 to 2. The gap widens as you move up the ranking system.
