I think I have a new favorite "just mess around and have crazy-awesome fun" custom game variant, replacing Zero-G Rockets and Rocket Race. It's a gametype I downladed days ago, but didn't bother to try out until tonight because I thought it would be lame. But it turns out it's AWESOME.
Laserball!!!
Basically, it's Free-For-All oddball, with JUST lasers. Speed is turned WAAAAAY up, and gravity is turned down. I hadn't bothered to try it out because it sounds like *every* custom game variant: "OMG speed is set super fast and everyone starts with a power weapon!!1!" - but in this instance it actually makes for a fantastically fun and frantic experience:

Insanity:
Watching the saved film was hilarious. I pulled the camera waaay up to the top of the treetops, and the match literally just looks like a swarm of spartans swarming all over the map, as they chase down the ballcarrier at high speeds in a big pack. It looked like elementary school soccer :lol
I saved a ~1 min clip of the match to show you what I'm talking about:

I usually only play Team-games if I have at least 2 friends in the lobby, I neve jump into a Team-playlist alone. And when I am playing, more often than not I have everyone except my party muted, a lot more pleasant that way.Mr.City said:

I doubt people who did this will get banned for it (not even saying I did). I mean people openly admit to stealing betas and actual games and nothing seems to happen. People who just paid 60-130 bucks won't likely be banned for earning a few achievements.

Yeah I did. I figured it out though. My problem was I didn't figure out you had to wait for the red text until I got to the last terminal, so the first time through I fucked it up. So I went through the first 6 again and did all of that, but it still wouldn't give me the achievement. Apparently you need to do them in order maybe because when I did the seventh one after I went through and did the first 6 right, it worked.zam said:

No, I picked the terminals up in a strange order. You just need to make sure you start from the beginning of the level and read the whole thing.Trasher said:

I saw the word plasma and then the beginning of the url and was replying before i finished the rest. good thing I checked out the video. Some neat use of forge to setup new ways to bounce the plasmanade around and sticking somebody. Though you could tell the 'victim' was playing along in most cases. Still learning to coordinate it just right probably took some practice.

There is absolutely no violation of terms that took place whatsoever, even in your imagination. You can change the language on your xbox and play whatever game you want in whatever language you want, whenever you want, with any game (that supports it). I have a friend who switches back and forth on his system from English and French for him and his wife all the time. Even if you were making the Live accounts in other regions they don't give a crap except for the video marketplace, but that's only because of licensing agreements, and all they did was ban that region's account.
You can debate whether or not it's cheating, but boosting is what happens when games tie in-game things to ridiculous achievements (see R6:V). Sorry I don't feel like playing FFA for god knows how long (and I HATE FFA, and never play it normally) to maybe have a chance of unlocking something in-game. They should have linked it to something you would have gotten normally without having to go out of your way specifically to do it, like a total kill count achievement in Team Slayer or something.

Man this game is really taking its toll on me. At 27 I can't game until 1 or 2am and pop right out of the bed at 5:30-6am like I used to. Not helping when mutliplayer has been such much fun for me that I keep telling myself, "Just one more game.....". Or worse when you are playing with a team of friends and having a winning streak. "Man you can't leave until we lose!"
