I really like Joe Staten. He just seems like a cool guy. I loved hearing him talk about all of the little stories and problems associated with the cutscenes.

i cannot seem to find a good mission to get the were in for some chop achievement. anyone got a suggestion?

There were quite a few cut from Halo 2. The only ones I knew about beforehand were a few from the end, but there were a lot more. First one was 'Covenant ship', which was to take place after Cairo Station. This level would have been pure genius. Riding a Warthog back through Cairo with the huge bomb to take it back to the Covenant ship and when you got there, you are to destroy the ship from the inside and plant the bomb. AWESOME! I really wish they didn't cut this level, it would have been legendary. Next one was 'Forerunner Tank', which you were supposed to be riding underground on your way to the Gravemind, while seeing his tentacles come flying out through the rocks. And....wait, what was the other one they mentioned? I cannot think of it for the life of me..
Joe carried the commentary; however, in a few parts he dived into the details a little to deeply and repeated things he already stated. For example, he had a fetish with pointing out the objects don't move and motion is simulated with a camera movement.Cocopjojo said:

Bungie favorites are a bit disappointing.
Screenshots are pretty generic (I've seen far better ones in the GAF thread alone), clips are pretty "meh" aside from that one awesome sticky and there isn't anything new or exciting in the game variant or map variant sections.

Does anyone play MLG settings here? I'm looking for some MLG FFA settings for halo 3. Also How can you take radar off in H3, I Cant find the advanced custom game settings.

I got all mine and helped other people, and I'll always help them out if they ask (even though I already have all mine). I don't want to be a dick, but also, it's not especially fun to just mow guys down that are trying to organize something.

Team Slayer is kinda fucked up.
Could we please get rid of Shotty Sniper. Really. Nobody wants it.
I've played over 200 matches and some maps (Valhalla and Last Resort) I have ONLY played Shotty Sniper. Is it supposed to be like this? If it is, then that's stupid.

Ghaleon, you're in for a treat with the second disc. Horribly visual quality of the Halo 1 cinemas inside, I thought the commentary was totally awesome/funny/interesting.

I notice pics of people able to do the final escape run with a Mongoose. All I've ever seen is the Warthog. Does anybody know where it is or how to get it?
As for the cinematics disc my favorite part was when they explain the Keyes / Needler glitch in Truth and Reconciliation. So glad they fixed that, but would have been hilarious to see just once.

When you first get the Warthog and exit the canyon - you usually take a hard right to head towards the panels. Take a left instead, and the Mongoose is by the rock wall, at the end of the path.Pudding Tame said:

Uh, you can get the Ninja (Hayabusa) helmet by getting all 13 skulls. The only thing you won't get with it is the flaming part.

I'm not sure at what point specifically I unlocked them or if that's what did it or not, I really wasn't compulsively checking that stuff. Oh and for those doing the asian workaround, the achievements do show in chinese in your dash only, but if you recover your tag when you're done and after you switch back to english, it DOES make fix them to english afterwards
Was tooling around in Forge and made a variant of Sandtrap, Airtrap (yeah, real original name, I know). Focuses more on aerial combat with one hornet and two banshees to each side. Took out the spartan lasers on both sides and put in some more rockets and plasma pistols, and put a spartan laser where the banshee normally spawns.
Recommended gametypes are Team Slayer and CTF (flying away with the flag on the side seat of a hornet is an awesome rush).
Comments and tips are welcome, this is a first draft and may need more tweaking.

Then it reads your profile and afterwards it downloads your profile to Xbox Live. I had a few issues with mine when I did it, but it went through fine. I think XBL was acting up that night, because it would say "Xbox Live is not available" a few times until it went complete.
The Achievements do go back being in English and normal again.

Is it cheating to go into a lobby in america and spam achievement desires and work the system? I don't see how it's important. And just for the record i'd like to say bungie created the more horrible set of achievements possible, I mean really, 3 sword kills in a row with only 4 opponents in RANKED in which case the only maps with swords come up so rarely? Hell their not even based on skill but luck.
Love the game, but the FFA ranked achievements are so much worse then what gears had, at least those were like.. grinding and skill.

I just beat the level cortana on legendary by myself, it was an act of being able to run away like a coward half the time, thank god for the cloaks.
I think that's the hardest level anyways, but I have a ways to go to win in legendary all the way. Curious though, I have one level (first) beaten in co op legendary while the rest i've done in single, do I have to rebeat that level?
Also.. is there a way to tell between people who win it by themselves or in co op?
