I was going to change it back after today.
For the first rush I figured I'd let everyone join up easily.

The part before the last cut scenes was hilarious for my friends and I when we were playing... That was probably some of the funniest stuff to happen recently, was indeed epic!

Yeah, but according to that Terminal I referenced (iirc) they created a new garden in the desert next to a tall mountain (Klimanjaro), they referenced Eden as well. So I'm guessing they created "life," or the foundations of it, on a new a new planet to keep their species from extinction.
That's how I understood things, but I'm probably wrong. Wish more people would discuss this stuff.

Its probably already been brought up, but can anyone help me with the audio in cutscenes?

Its completely muffled and I'm struggling to hear it (even with the audio on too loud)
 
Is the Achievements section of your Bnet profile broken for anyone else? Whenever I try to look up my achievements, it shows me some random person's achievements instead.
 
Anyone else having trouble getting a couple of the Achievements?

Headshot Honcho - I've racked up around 50 head shots in a single campaign, yet no achievement. Do they have to be within a certain interval from each other? I've even lined up 10 in a row (I counted) and still nothing. Campaign scoring was on, so I could see when I was getting them, still no joy.

Used Car Salesman - Ive smashed, crashed and demolished plenty of loaded Prowlers, but still no medal.

Any ideas?

They have to be all 10 with a Sniper Rifle.

Weird. That's the only achievement I've unlocked and I've yet to even finish the 1st mission.
 
Yes! Got the sniping achievement!

TY Bungie for making a good chunk of them grabbable offline. Cause I suck.

760 pts! LEGENDARY!! You guys can get the sniping achievement on level 6 very easily.
 
Ahh, so Groups is basically the equivalent of clans? Nifty. Joined up.

Also, just toyed a bit with Forge and Custom games. The game continues to awe me in how sophisticated it is yet extremely slick & easy to use.
 
why is it that my armor color is red in customs but white in matchmaking? the white is my default color I chose under settings but for some reason my armor is red in customs?

We have all talked about the length of the game. But i would be curious to know what you guy's averaged in time length per level.

Me and Ironclad have been playing the game and so far its been roughly 23-30 minutes per level. (even with skulls on)

I forgot to mention, playing on legendary.

Actually you need both. The maps you can play on whenever, of course, but the Game Types are specifically designed for them, and vice versa. You can play that Game Type on any Custom game anywhere, but it's best on the map made for it.

I got that one in the second level. You know that part where you can grab the gatling gun and it goes into third-person view? I did that, and shot at the front-mounted gun on that alien ship until it exploded. Boom, achievement unlocked.
Now, about the Headshot Honcho achievement, do I have to get those ten headshots in a row without dying? And as for the We're in for some Chop achievement, how do I know if an enemy vehicle has equipment in it?

An hour at least for each level by myself on Heroic.
 
Ending credits spoiler
Wow @ the ending after the credits. Much more fitting than anything I could come up with, very simple and elegant. Especially the chief going back into cryogenic sleep, great way to tie it to the beginning of Halo CE. I thought I was spoilered because I got XBL Friend requests from CORTANADIES and MCDIES.
Now onto the rest of the game and the extras.

Gotcha, thanks. But for the zombie map previously mentioned in this thread (http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=13171691) it looks like it's using a gametype that's already built into the game. Is this correct?
 
I was ~hour in every level except 5 I think, which was a bit shorter. Maybe 40 min for that one.

2 player coop legendary.

I've heard that destroying that front turret does it, and I've tried it multiple times, still nothing. In fact on that section I've popped the front and side turret on multiple dropships and gotten nothing.

Maybe I was a used car salesman in a former life and this is just cosmic irony. Who knows.
