Well, I'm not sure if Halo 3 is already out in Japan, but from that pic, there are Japanese folks playing from Hokkaido, Tokyo and other areas. I think Halo 3's doing good in Japan, considering the 360's performance over there.

I just downloaded and watched the video for Rocket Race on Sandtrap...looks SO FUN. I really wanna play that.

I messed around with Forge a little bit. Looks easy and awesome to use. My friend and I were practicing deflecting rockets with the Gravity Hammer. I'm good at it, but he died a bunch of times. It looks so funny when the rocket goes flying off spinning in all directions.

This afternoon, I've had the best online game experience thanks to Halo 3.

The Halo games are the ONLY games I'll play on XBL consistently. And, of course, I'll be playing COD4.

This might sound really newb-ish, but I remember them talking about a thing in forge, a certain setup. In it they had like respawning grenades/explosives/etc and something just kept blowing up over and over and over again, like a hazrd in the playing field. Does anyone remember exactly how they set this up? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Friend of mine had a 360 come Out of the Box with Kiddie Controls on so it might be something mundane as that.

I wonder if that's what prevented me from entering a clan tag on COD4 / and initially limited my service tag on halo3. Hmmmmm.... I'm also playing in recreation zone.

BTW, my service tag is working now, but yesterday it kept defaulting to 000. I also changed my privacy settings back to normal in the middle of yesterday after I finished the fight about the same time I remember my tag working.

I'm pretty sure Halo 2 was only getting around ~40,000 players a day a few weeks ago, so Halo 3 has had a boost on its stats. I think it's probably just people who are yet to pick up a copy and feel the need to join in the Halo Lovefest '07.

Plant a cluster of fusion cores, and adjust the respawn time to the minimum. I think you can set it low enough that they'll start to respawn while others are still blowing up, creating a perpetual hazard.

Well see but they all blow up at once and then they have to respawn. They respawn and all the explosions have stopped at this point and then I have to actually fire at them again to blow them up. See the problem?

I had to do it with sniper rifles specifically. I unlocked it around the 7th level.

whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy end the game with two flood levels in a row? They're not nearly as fun to fight as covenant. Most, if not every level before the one on High Charity, were the best levels in any halo game. I understand that the flood have to be there for story purposes, but why not have 3 way battles like in the other 2 games? That High Charity level was really boring to look at and play.

At least the ending sequence ruled ass..

I think they have to be sniper rifle headshots. Carbine and BR don't count.

You have to use a Sniper weapon to get it. I got it on the first level. There are Beam Rifles, but also the human Sniper Rifle as well.

There is a easy way to get them to respawn instantaneously. You highlight a fusion coil, hit the X button to edit properties, Hit X again to get the summary, and then make the run-time minimum to be the same number as the amount of coils you have on the map.

That way as soon as one blows up it keeps respawning them because it thinks it needs to have X amount on the map at any given time.

they took care of earth's problem by containing it before it got bad. they "glassed" the area. the ark is outside our galaxy

Been playing online today. I'm sick so I called into work and skipped two of my classes. I like most of the maps, and the expiramental, Team Tactical list. At the very least it offers a change or pace, and puts some more variety into the game. I've yet to play Sandtrap but I'm looking forward to it.

Next to the "ark" which is way way far away from the other rings on the other side of the galaxy. Its a safe zone the used to protect us.(I think) Activating the ring kills everything around it, which will starve the gravemind. Eventually. Since hes millions of light years away from anything edible. With no form of travel.

They fire bombed all of the area where the flood landed on earth, they're all dead...maybe. Covenant went through the portal on earth that took them to the Ark. Where far as I can tell they all died. Might be some left over forces across the galaxy, but with the all high prophets dead. And the Elites and humans allied, they'll just run.

Least, thats what I think.
