I'm having trouble getting the "Used Car Salesman" achievement in Campaign, it might be glitched. I've blown up those 4 person brute hovercrafts and a bunch of phantoms with passengers and still never got it. Any tips?

people always balk at my mouse sensitivity since it's ridiculously high, and i like the same thing with console fps'. i can't play anything lower than 10. i just suck, i can't aim properly, i can't move fast enough, i just blow.

So I made a fun little map variant where you blow stuff up. That's right. Blow stuff up. Namely, a bunch of mongooses (plural spl?) and ghosts. Here's some screens:

Anywho, I picked up my copy yesterday after work, and managed to get a couple hours in. The first level took me a bit over 2 hours to complete, so I don't think I'll be finishing the campaign in 6! I'm a "casual" Halo player, but decided to play on Heroic to get the full effect. The first level didn't seem too terribly hard, although I did take my time, and according to my stats page, I died 13 times. About 5 minutes into the second level, I hit a wall. Description of scene-->
I died about 7,000 times, and seem to be stuck. I'll try restarting the level tonight in hopes of keeping my Marines alive a bit longer, and perhaps getting more ammo and/or better weapons.
Impressions: Nice. Very polished. Graphics are nice, certainly not "jaggy", but not really "OMG, honey! Come in and look at this!" either. (Bear in mind I've only seen 1.1 levels so far.) The lighting effects are indeed lovely. The character animation in the cut scenes is pretty poor, but the dialog and "direction" seem good. The audio mix seems fine. I can hear my own guns with no issues.
Well, I need to play more before I can comment further. But so far, so good!

Is no one else having trouble getting into matches? I was flying into games last night and earlier this morning, but now it takes upwards to 10 minutes to join a game, if it will even connect me to one. I checked my network connections and everything is fine. I'm hoping it's just a hiccup in the Bungie servers, which would be totally understandable.

Thanks, I wish the description of the achievement actually reflected what I had to do to unlock it. Blowing up the front turret on the Phantom, leaving the rest of the craft intact seems to have done the trick.Aulatori said:

Thought the ending was great especially after the credits, but its too bad Frankie spoiled some of ending for me when he linked to the other thread last night. The graphics are good considering the size of the levels. I dont get why so many people hated the 8th level. The level looks great and you just need to be strategic when fighting the special enemy. I just took the Brute shot to knock them down then one whack with the energy sword kills them. I thought the worst level was the 2nd because it looked very stale and uninteresting. The 5th level had the best atmosphere and I had the most fun on the 6th.

We need a post for gametypes created in forge a long with voting on these gametypes. Anyway love the game and think it was definitely one of the best games for the value. I have not played around with forge but I think this will really give the game legs.

Hm... I'm playing on Normal and I just found one of the two remaining skulls that I'm missing. I picked it up, saved and exited, and went to my campaign options to see which one it was. But I don't have it! So, I went back in to the game and walked around till I hit a checkpoint while holding it. But I still don't have it. Wtf?
