But you do have to wonder if another game like MGS4 (wink, wink) will get the same treatment.
 
Went to the store at 11:00 and picked up the game.

HAVE FUN standing shoulder to shoulder for 4 hours with unwashed reeking nerds who most likely have cheeto crumbs festering in the crack of ther ass, suckers.

If anyone wants my 48 hour xbox live trial flash me a pm, I don't need it.

I'm sorta sad that I can't go to these events. I dunno if there will ever be anything else quite like this during my college years, and I'm here laid up post surgery.

Oh well, at least I get to play the game soon :D

Eh, you guys shouldn't worry about stuff so much. It's over and done with. Just enjoy the game. WasabiKing and Evilore and Tekno are all confirmed members of the we hate Halo club, so just let their practical jokes run off your backs, no reason to get irritated by it. That's what they want :)
 
LOL :lol The MODS turning on this thread is a hilarious twist. Oh well, less than 24 hours to go until Halo 3 is in my hands and I couldn't be happier.

i'm pretty sure that was an isolated issue and most LE copies are fine. i have a LE reserved and i have no regrets despite this story of scratched discs.

Most important question and my biggest concern, but from reports I've read they are fun to fight...but compared to elites I don't know.

get ready for the bitching and complaining that is bound to happen tonight because i doubt very much that this is an isolated issue after all the reports that have come in.

Is the asian version of Halo 3 region free? Or atleast will work with a US console?

So yeah, I see that I missed alot of "fun", including real spoilers by a mod... and you expect the members when Teknopathetic pulls crap like that...

Having fun is no problem, but come on, we got people here like myself that want zero spoilers for the game... it's even enforced by mod too...

But whatever, it's done...

The beauty is that it downloads in the background, even when searching in Matchmaking...
 
So a day and a bit to go here in the UK,

Man the hype has got me working hard, timing a system a few months in the works to go live at work tomorrow so I can bail out of the place for the haloz.

I was geeking out today trying to explain to some none gamers about it today, not gotten at all tho they have never played a game properly in their life (but they all like or want a wii :lol).

Anyway fair few people came to ask me about the best places to go to midnight launches in the area, man some guys totaly surpirsed me. Cant wait.

Get them launch photos coming.

/break over back to work for me :D

It's different. Headshots seem to register better this time around. While Elites absolutely loved to side step, the Brutes not so much. They do like however to jump ontop of objects to get a good view of things and they're the same as Elites in finding cover. They seem to be kinda slower traversing the environment. They seem to carry a bit heavier artillery from time to time as well. Keep that Brute chieftain at a distance.

On that note, it would be funny if after a Brute runs into you with a Gravity Hammer and pwns your ass he goes "I am the Juggernaut Bitch"

I really did want to say that we should play co-op some time but I didn't want to put him on the spot like that, as I'm sure his FL is mobbed and he's got, like, foreign dignitaries he needs to play co-op with first.

That sounds fun!
I love the elites a lot and while I would have been happy with just different-skinned elites (brutes), brutes with their own unique character and playstyle sounds very exciting.

I don't mind if they are different to fight, I just want a good and fun fight. And I guess all signs point to yes, so that's awesome.
