Yep I got mine about 12 hours ago. No problems with the disks at all. Wish I could say the same about the framerate. :(

I'm online right now. Bear Minimum.

OMG that Neil Blomkamp film made me tingle. I can't wait for te Halo film. I hope they keep that style and art direction, im loving the realism. When that brute hits the marine with the hammer and the blood hits the wall. SOOOOOO good. BELIEVE.
 
The press ones are the helmet plus the tin version as far as I know.

Mine has the Helmet, plus two normal DVD cases, one is the game the other Halo 3 Essentails, they sit on the top of the helmet on plastic not it in.

Yup, but now you can keep them in the plinth. If I get the Legendary, I want to sell the cat helmet.

Thanks for the reply, sounds good anyway, i mean come on it's HALO 3, i can't be complaining about the Box art when it gets covered up by a SPARTAN helmet.:D

Plinth? The Wii Holder thing? Yeah thats where mine will be going. I can't play in any great capacity till the weekend not touching single player till then.

The boxes for the legendary look like this...

Actually, here's some of the pertinent dialog directly out of the short film:

Command: "Move to sector 6. Master Chief's re-entry is [muffled]"
Command: "Sierra 117, search and rescue team is awaiting coordinates"
Command: "You need to get that laser on the Chief"
ODST: "We need to hold them off until Master Chief breaks through".
ODST: *Points laser at meteor*
ODST: "Target acquired"
Command: "That's it, we got him. Recovery team has his coordinates. Touching down soon."

Take from that what you will ;-)

Oh sweet. I wasn't sure if that guy had to get the drop on something following the meteor but it looks like they just needed to get its coordinates, and the laser is the only weapon with a linked sight?

Cool little story in there.
 
I like the Bungie map. Is there someone in the Canary Islands playing Halo or am I seeing things? Also imagine the stats tonight. Can't wait. I"m out until after midnight. 20k before 12pm. Believe.
 
:lol If anyone wants to meet Jeff Bell, he sent out a message to his Live friends list saying he'll be at the Bellevue WA Best Buy tonight and hinted at a Bill Gates appearance.
