So I decided I might NOT be able to just walk in and buy a copy tuesday morning, and opted to go to my local EB Games and see if I could still preorder a copy this late.
The guy checks the system to see if every copy they've received has been preordered or not, and lets me know that I'm in luck. They still have 10 or so copies left.
I place my preorder, and the guy says "Know what preorder number you are?"
"Ha, what number?"
"Number 510."
Hoooly shit. This is at a small EB games in a small mall, about 30-40 minutes south of San Francisco. FIVE HUNDRED AND TEN preorders, at this one small location. It's unbelievable to me that 1) This small EB Games received over 500 preorders and 2) Their initial Halo 3 shipment is over 500 copies.
I knew Halo 3 was going to be big... bu tmy god. It truly IS going to crush all.
